Spain deserved to win, this world cup was very good and had very good games. Spain was way ahead of pretty much every team.

Messi looked tired. Walking around the field, not even running unless he personally had the ball, which was only a few times.

Wore his ass out.

That's also a problem with leaning too heavily on one player as the linchpin.

I didn't see all that many games in this tournament, but this was the first one I saw where a team gave Argentina a taste of their own medicine. ZERO shots on goal. Playing catch-up the entire time.

It was even plausible to get another Argentina player a red card. I think Paredes was the guy that should get a red by making that foul close to the penalty area while he had a yellow already.

It should also be 2x0 by that goal that was robbed from Spain and 3x0 if Nico Williams was not do dumb in loosing a practically made goal.

I can't lie I didn't expect a shutout to this level, to have no shots on target is crazy. The better team won and I'm happy for Spain.
