Has anyone named their house, or living quarters?

The best I could come up with is this is a cottage.  But that's not a name just a category.  The Cottage.

Ooooh.
I've always wanted to try that.
I heard chewing up enough of the fresh leaves is a completely different high and it lasts for a while.
Hamilton Morris did a video on it but the person helping him gather plants purposefully did not give him enough to actually make them trip.

Had an awesome 3 day weekend in the woods, was going to share a fucking wild story but after a page or two of catching up, I had to check the thread title 3 or 4 times to be sure I was in the cult confessional.

S divinorum is awesome. It's a really easy plant to cult and it's got a pretty wide range of effects. The chewing / mucal membrane route is pretty gross. But the effects are cool.

I used to make extracts with acetone, for smoking. Also works pretty good. But it's weird. Not really party stuff. Sometimes it gets really dark and / or confusing. Had a pretty difficult time when my ex and I smoked some in San Sebastian (Euzkadi / 'Spain'). Everything went gray and people's faces were smears, or shadows. We got lost and couldn't look at each other, because we both radiated fear. Thing must have lasted for like ten minutes, but it felt like a day. A day of stumbling through some monochrome favela with faceless zombies. Yurrrchkk.

Main disadvantage is they never set seed and immediately die at first frost, so you have to let cuttings overwinter indoor. And if there's any aphid, thrips or whatever around, they will fuck with the cuttings.

And beef, couldn't agree more. Just use the proper binominal. Every trivial name refers to several species, or clusters, genera etc. Some trivial names mean one plant in this area, and another in the next. Latin isn't difficult, lazyness causes confusion.

What's up cool cats

I confess I've been inattentive, with a mess of my own making & discouraged by a mite infestation over the past year or two that has made cult quite difficult. It doesnt help that my strategy was primarily "do nothing" with a bit of "let everything fester and just don't go in that room and acknowledge it". Turns out that doesnt work

July approaches, and for some reason that month always makes me want to get to work. So I spent all weekend clearing out the space & bleaching everything. Don't know if the mites are gone or if they just partied in my spoiled cult trash for a year. Hopefully bigger, badder mites with anchor tattoos showed up and ate them all. At any rate I poured some plates and am trying to revive some stuff that was in long term storage. Wiped everything down well and put em straight into ziplocs after so if my place is still infested maybe they won't be able to get in as easy.

I'm not destitute but still lost a lot of cool shit- some basic stuff that I was proud of from working it for many years, as well as some more rare and exotic stuff sent to me by generous people on here who figured I'd take care of them. I didnt, and feel pretty bad about that

Anyway, got restarted at least, something will shake out soon hopefully. Also, hi  missed ya

Quick suggestion.  For mites.  Get yourself a small miniature steamer off of amazon. I got one to clean all sorts of shit including mites that had gotten around my hedgehogs enclosure.

Steam will kill all those little bastards instantly you can steam treat a whole area the walls the floors all the cracks everything.

Looks like this

https://a.co/d/0aDXM8hQ

This little thing is a beast. That's also great if you have children and need to clean matresse couches and furniture bedding plush toys, stove tops tile/grout etc.

I haven't done it yet but it also comes in handy with actual mycology lab work. Ie. "Fahtsters Steam pen"

You can use it for instant steam to sterilize injection ports (who uses those ) or jar lids and work bench stuff like that.

Is super handy.

There's cheaper options as well. but this is the one I have. so that's the one I'm posting.

Did it kinda fall in your lap or did you have to forge it from basic elements?
