If the of cake has mycelium yes. I plan on pulling some rhizo growth off the top of my caerulescens grow to try to get some rhizomorphic variety. As the lc I started with only grew 99.9% tomentose

Ochra plate that is beginning to get overgrown. This strain does not seem to be overlaying as much, with more rhizo growth so I would like to see it through. Currently there is so much already S2B'ed + more jars waiting. Not sure I want to get another going. What are my options here? I recently ordered some vials for stasis storing long term but that is not an option yet.

Triple wrap it and keep it at room temperature, should hold at least 6 months. Lovely plate btw :awesomenod:

Is it even worth it to keep trying to get this more uniform. The 6 and 2 grew at the same speed, just a little wispy, it wasnt a gap or slower, it stayed a perfect leading edge circle.

looks good; it looks like it grew that way because of the triangle shape of the initial wedge transfer in the middle.

Just checked my Mexicanae plates and omg this thing is pinning/fruiting on Agar!
I’ve never had my plates fruit before.. Beyond excited to get this on to grains and spawned to bulk!
