If it looks extractive (i.e., in small spots on the surface of the casing), you can probably extract it. This guy I know has saved a casing by removing the infested part of the casing and spraying with h2o2. You may want to dilute the h2o2 a little.

retire(mind,soul);
die(mind,soul);
}

Yeah, sounds good. Good luck ! What's the every-27th-year occasion?

Agreed. if you catch it quick enough and its on the surface you can deal with it swiftly and generally effectively as stated above. just keep those eyeballs peeled for a return of the killer fungus of green death!! (or something like that. lol)

you go into anaphylactic shock from a reaction with the psilocybin/green mold and die from the crazy amount of histamine being released into your blood stream. Unless you have epinephrine on hand.
That i think would be a worse case. I dunno if it would happen though.
Edit: woops, wrong thread.

--> is there any way to beat green mold on a casing?
I would, for the most part, agree with the above posts. But I offer another method of beating green mold:
 A billy club.
Make sure to give it a good "whack."

Once you see green/blue mold. It has developed spores & is spewing them - out. You can stall it, wetting with H202, then pouring on a little salt. But, it will keep on coming back.
If I have decent pins, I stall it (as above), til harvest. Then, trash can tek the tray content.
