My wife is a raging asshole

I cannot stand this vile woman. Getting angry over everything and stealing so much time just bitching about everything. And never ever thinking there is an issue with dominating conversations with complaints and sources attitudes.

Always expects me to bend over backward and wants to bask in the rewards that I bring to the table yet never has a suggestion for something to do or places to go. This woman would rot in a dark hole if no one pulled her out of it.



Life is beyond stupid right now. Every time something good is happening in my life, in our life, she goes and becomes a pissy asshole and has to stir shit up and create an argument. I just fucking hate this shit.


I frankly don't know what there is for me anyway. Thoughts are hard right now.

Maybe instead of bending over backwards for her you bend her over a table and slap her around a little bit.  Remind her why you’re the man of the household and why she respects the fuck out of you.

We have no control over others. We can only control our response to them.

If you want those around you to act in a more loving and conscious manner, act in a way that helps them to do so.

When she throws a flaming sack of shit at you, don't throw it back. If you do, you aren't making space for her to be better and adding to the problem.

Instead, catch the sack and gently set it down, without emotion. This is the best way for her to see the problem.

Well the situation has not gotten better. And I have been swinging in the direction of setting boundaries or otherwise ignoring and walking away. It sucks.

Anon6 is correct about anon9. I've done that. She just looks to be a mean person and will become more mean if I say anything about it.

I keep thinking divorce but right now I am stuck in this mortgage. It sure sounds easy to just leave but I know I would regret that for a while if I just let a house go into foreclosure.
