Yeah there's some big names on that album. David Gilmour, Sting and Grace Jones. A secret gem for sure.

On a different note I was just checking in on Ivy Levan.. wondering what the hell ever happened to her. She's apparently still in the scene and even did some acting in the Rocky Horror Picture Show lol. Always found her to be so unique and charismatic. Very entertaining and acting would definitely suit her. The last release was kinda meh but her early stuff was great. I'd love to see her get back to that.

In my head now

Yeah lots of flashbacks lately lol.

The mushrooms are getting better and better with each show. I wonder if they'll ever add strings.

^Sounds like an excellent one AZ, hope you both had a hoot!
:darkside:

:darkside:

Dark Side Of The Moon is just seminal tripping music, never gets old.
I think after so many goes around, and having each song having its time on the #1 favourite podium, it's Brain Damage.

"There's someone on my couch, but it's not me...."
:bongload:

:bongload:

Brain damage, Us and them, Time, Any colour you like, Breathe, Eclipse, Great gig in the sky, Money, Speak to me, On the run.
That's my personal ranking.

We had an absolutely great day! Thanks!

DSTOM never gets old. Not ever. My personal favorite of it is live on Pulse. Besides the album being in the most perfectly recorded sequence making it the masterpiece that it is, my personal ranking is… Us & Them, GGITS, Brain Damage, Time, STM/Breathe, Eclipse, Money, OTR, ACYL.

I listened to half of it sober a few weeks back. Cool, doesn't even sound like music half the time. Just sounds like a symphony of sounds

But I like Wish You Were Here...

'We're just two lost souls
Living in a fish bowl
Year after year.'

Idk why but those lyrics make me happy. Makes me feel like I can find my other fish soulmate whose floating around aimlessly lol

Running over the same old ground, what have we found, the same old fears, wish you were here…

Wish You Were Here. Another great album to listen to on :mushroom2:

:mushroom2:

Start to finish. The 50th Anniversary remaster is even better. Welcome To The Machine on shrooms is amazing. Those sounds of machines and the segue from Shine On You Crazy Diamond is just perfect. Once again, my favorite versions of SOYCD and WYWH are live on Pulse. However, on the 50th Anniversary release SOYCD was released for the first time in full version of parts 1-9 all together as one complete listening experience and in a new upgraded mix as well as Dolby Atmos. It is fucking amazeballs!
