anyone else feel the good energy when focusing on the moon tonite? pure bliss the silver light is, it shines right through my soul ... not all the time only when I meditate on it... I can almost feel the sun in my mind yet the moon on my skin... the light is defiantly of a unique frequency

Good news yesterday from my physician - probably just gastroenteritis, not an aortic aneurysm! Cut the grass, edged, cleaned the pool - then with a Beck's Dark, followed by a WarSteiner, I got naked and got into the crystal clear pool as the full Moon rose in the sky. Relieved and grateful, now nicely buzzed, I raised my arms to embrace the cool light of the lunar orb. I used to think the Sun loved me, but he gave me a cataract and melanoma here in the Sunshine State. I am only now making a reversal as a Moonchild, born early in July. I shun the Sun, but welcome the Moon. I still venerate the Inner Sun of Intellect with which the Inner Moon of Intuition must be wed to accomplish the alchemical Conjunctio, it's just the UV I wish to avoid. How strange, living in the Sunshine State yet staying indoors - like introverting in my library to read about the Inner Light in the midst of glaring outer light.
Tonight is a rare Blue Moon - two full Moons in July - the 2nd and the 31st. We are invited to a drum-circle on Ft. Lauderdale beach tonight. Despite the nagging abdominal ache, we will go and perhaps someone will lend my Lady and me a couple of drums so we can join in.
Peace.

Mmhmm... my friends and I did a little drinking in one's honour, 18th bday. We've agreed to go back to our spot at the lake and indulge in god flesh next full moon. We did before too, under the full moon, and the 8 of us had never connected so seemlessly. Told stories and laughed all night.

I remarked today that if the sun and the moon had egos the sun would probably be mad at the moon. After all, everyone always says how wonderful the moon is but the moon is but a dusty rock that happens to reflect the Suns energy. The Sun does ALL the work, and while most people will understand it as necessary for life, they will still complain about it. The moon, however, is a thieving bum that gets all this undeserved praise. Down with the freeloading attention whore that is the moon!

don't get me wrong, it is an underlying notion that the light of the moon IS the sun and I remember this when I look at it...one can experience both the grey areas of dark and light as the sun fades !

I always love full moons. definately positive vibes there!
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Perhaps people like you and me understand this but there are so many more that look up into the night sky and don't understand that, or have an equally absurd notion such as the moon is closer to the earth when it's full or that eggs can only be balanced on it's edge during an equinox or that the moon holds your fate or that it makes your hair grow fast. Say misinformation with a lisp and what do you get? Myth Infomation.

Mmm.. full moons definitely put out great vibes. That's why my friends and I can't wait to shroom under another. Best large group bonding session I've ever had, and all with old friends reuniting.

Did any of you notice anything special about the recent full moon?
Well if you didn't, let me clue you in. It was the second full moon in one month. That's a very rare occurance. It's refered to as a "blue moon." I'm sure most of you have heard that saying before... "once in a blue moon."
ah, just seen that MarkostheGnostic, refered the blue moon. You guys can disregaurd my post.
