I just ordered some grafting tape and realized I didn't get the self-adhesive kind. Do I need to return it?


Oh, im  planning on using it to wrap plates

Mine is basically small rolls of cling wrap.

I'm not sure if it was advertised as self adhesive, but it works well.

Same. Works like Saran Wrap and adheres with stretch.

Im just going to have to use it and find out. At least if it doesn't work I can still use it for plants and stuff like that. And then I'll just cut up a roll of Saran Wrap instead.

When I ask Google it says there's two kinds. one that sticks to itself and one that needs to be tied in a knot.

Im Kind of coming to the realization that I'm finally ready to grow some exotics consistently.  Pans,semps,sec zap, tamps etc....


I'm almost 2 years in on cubes and I'm extremely confident in that cultivation.

However I still will grow cubes in the background.. just my main focus will be on the exotics.


It's time for this noob to evolve..
Finally  confident enough to say I deserve LFH/ffu and I put in the time and work to do so.  Im not one to rush things.( MY FFU  arrived the other day and the pre-filter came today. so.... it's on baby:rockon:

The rest of this year will consist of pouring instead of no pours.. venturing into bags. Which of course most likely means at some point I'll also be getting into making lc.

Up to this point I've been adamant about staying away from it entirely.

Like I said though it's time for this Noob to evolve..

I think it would be really cool to be able to keep the candles lit while so many of our extremely trusted friends/cultivators take a step away for awhile. Like many of them have recently expressed.

I spit into an agar plate one time for shits and giggles and nothing happened after a week, I was surprised.

I threw the plate away.

I confess I got paranoid and composted around 30 clean qts of cube spawn, as well 30 shoeboxes:tinfoil: felt very sacrilegious destroying so much work. I Got a little carried away this winter, Loved every second of the cult work, but the quantity started freaking me out.

I feel better about cultivation now. Scaling down has really allowed me more focus on a couple projects rather than impulsively mass producing grain. Im looking forward to being a little more deliberate with future grows. Still got a bunch of stuff in the works :stirthepot:

The drawers on the dresser I got close now. The reason it was free is because it was outside somewhere and is riddled with Trichoderma. This has completely ended my cultivation efforts with the exception of a couple things that I've been working on. At some point I'm just gonna throw the whole thing away and get a new desk until then I feel like it's kind of pointless to use a filtered fan unit on top of a lump of trichoderma.

@Dala, that's a great mantra and one I'm going to adopt as well. Cult needs to be something I look forward to, not get overwhelmed by.

I dumped a whole bunch of stuff this past week. Grain. tubs. Plates. Early spring cleaning.

I also built a mini insulated dreamer type growing “cube” about 3’ around. Fully automated.

I’ve been growing in huge tubs just because I was a total noob when I started and thought bigger is better.

So now it’s shoeboxes in the cube at a mellow pace moving forward. Patience and joy instead of stress and frustration.

I've  been on team "mini-monos" since the beginning,
i confess I've only grown 1 full sized mono..

Was a bitch to harvest, triched out early, got probably a bit over QP dry  not worth the hassel.




So a good movie I'd recommend yall watch, starring "the president" from the Hitch Hiker's guide....

I did a 28qt sweaterbox of ochra in my tent once.

But otherwise, I started with shoe boxes and I've always liked smaller projects.
