One or two bricks is enough for you? What size brick?

One brick makes like 2-3 shoeboxes for me. Bigger tubs take the whole brick 😭 I don’t mix any verm in though.


Canna comes in two “lobes” that are attached together. I consider one half of that to be a brick and it weighs about 900g dry. So ~1800 for the both.
Makes nearly 4 gallons when hydrated, especially if verm added.

It's not that I worry about them from a functional perspective--this is just my latent OCD speaking.. None of my other glassware comes out with this haze. These are relatively new media bottles, only been used 4 times to make agar.

I have actually heard this as well about the pressing process into the brick killing bacteria and mold. Don't know if it's true or not. But doesn't really matter anyways considering the bucket  does that job as well.

What petri dishes are you all using? I plan to snap some up soon.

P.S. I was able to save my cakes. I doused the hell out of them amd transfered them off the foil and into lids. As always, thanks for the guidance on that little mishap!

Right on. I actually grabbed 10 of these to try out. I got the 90mm size. Just poured them and attempted a clone from my 1st harvest on 5 of them. Gonna need more, tho. Thanks!

I just buy the 30 pack on eBay, straight out of the injection moulder.  They take the hot agar just fine, and no contamination as long as you handle them like nitrogycerine.

Oh, I know some will say gamma rays, but that is wishful thinking.

Mind you don't buy the 60mm.

And BezosMart sucks balls.

Worried about one of my spawn bags
- injected 3 LC syringes into 3 bags at the same time

- One bag looks very weird to me
  - It has mycelium that looks different than the others
  - The bag has inflated like a ballon
  - The grain on the top of the bag has no real growth on it post Shake and break, but rest of bag is fully covered

- Worried that if i go G2S i will introduce contam to my room

Help!

A few  of my pf jars brok in my PC last night. No clue why.  it's only the second PC run these jars have ever been through. I guess they're just cheap.:shrug:




Any ideas if they're going to be okay to get through colonization with these cracks? I know they won't make it through another pc.

I went ahead and put some MP tape over the cracks on the three jars.
