Will lionsmane fruit on half sawdust and half coir together?

I got a bunch of cheap coir but all the wood is expensive around these parts. I need them tasty lionsmanes :crazy2:

I would do hardwood sawdust and 10-20% bran.

Does that need to be sterilized or can I just dump boiled water in there as a faux pasturize?

Ive been getting away with 5% bran this way but not sure about the higher percentages

OP: you can ask in the gourmet section might get some more input

He's right you could get hardwood fuel pellets, they are just compressed sawdust. They sell them all over, they run about $5 a bag, usually in 40 to 50 pound bags.
