Petri not growing -- I cut some stem meat into oatmeal agar dishes a few weeks ago and I'm seeing no growth. They are in 30cc plastic cups with lids, which are stacked inside a clear plastic container, so visibility is pretty good.  Why are the cuttings not growing...?

First forté into agar. 1 is a couple GT grain pieces the other is from a home made bluie  LC
how aes they lookibg so far,  wgen do i know when they'reready or eff'd,  a couple said they  were questionable when showing grainbag and mentioning LC so idk.

It looks like there’s definitely some life in there that you can transfer from.

Unless things are so cold in your apartment you’re out of the temperature range you should not need any heating pad.

Even in that case, you would warm the space around it. You would not put heat directly underneath it. That’s just gonna dry it out.

Haha. My bad. I meant "another" but I do have to run a heater in my back room. I'm in an old mobile. Gets coold Druing hot and vise versa. Touchscreen are the bank of my existence

Not with cubes.  But I've seen some pan strains do that when they get too much nutrients.

Which isn't what I think is happening here, I think it's a mutation being caused by something but, cubes don't tend to freak out when they have too much nutrition.
