When trying to fruit PF Tek cakes in a water tub, if they've started pinning should I stop any misting or is it okay to keep misting the cakes and pins? There aren't a TON of pins, but I've got several on each cake.

The water tub must have had too much FAE as most of the condensation has dried up on the sides. I last misted early yesterday.

Got these brown patches that showed up just before I planned on initiating fruiting conditions. Not sure what it is or what I should do from here. Its  cubes on rye spawned to coir and coir casing.

Never seen that with Cubes, what variety.

Some Edibles turn brown like that.

Actually I've been posting in that thread before and now it says I've got a VPN running but I don't have one installed on my phone at all which is why I'm confused

Have you tried another browser?

Also, do you have roommates? You can install a VPN on a router, so you might not have to run the software on your device directly.

Actually I haven't tried a different browser but I'll do that as soon as I'm at home and no I don't have roommates except my gf also I'm at work so perhaps that's why but we haven't had any VPN here before... also wouldn't that effect every single thread on shroomery rather than just one which I have posted in before?

I agree it would likely be all or nothing, unless the moderators have it set up to only warn you when you try to post. Either way it says you have a 50 post limit until you don't get the message anymore and you're already at 40. You can easily crank out 10 posts in a day no problem.

The only theory I have besides it being a random glitch is that you have a VPN installed either on the browser via an extension or perhaps one set up within your router that you're unaware of. It is a bit of a stretch but that's the only logical thing I can think of happening.

What really is the best "lab quality" wire for noc loops, and compatible with all sterilization techniques, such as induction?

If there was one wire to rule them all, would it be SS, Nichrome 80, Kanthal? I think the latter would hold up to repeated sterilization temps the longest over time, but like to hear others opinions.

Also, what gauge, and configuration? 24, 26, 28.. 30ga parallel twisted (with 2 wires)? You want just the right amount of springiness, correct? As not to damage the spores when scraping them, but also just stiff enough you get a good even streak, and somewhat acts like a shock absorber as you swipe.

Now, when it comes to the spores clinging on to the small surface area of a single wire.. Would a "clapton" or twisted type of wire configuration actually be better, and help pull in\release more spores with the extra capillary action? Basically, a single (or multi fused) larger gauge wire wrapped with a thinner sometimes different kind of wire all the way around tight like a coil/jacket. Common in the vape industry to bring out more flavor, etc.

Yeah I know it will be solved by having 50 posts, i just found it to be weird since I don't use a vpn and I'm rather sure my workplace doesn't have a VPN since other websites who prohibits it work perfectly.

I think I'll be guessing on a temporary bug since it's only one thread and one which I've posted in more than once before. Good thing that I don't have to worry over it after the 50 post count.

Watch out if you are using any kind of google or chrome based browsers. Recently a bunch of common extensions were found to be  hijacked. I think I even heard about some of the extensions masquerading as VPNs, etc.. Just a heads up!
