Here is the question:  Do I need to add a micropore sticker and a hole for gas exchange, or can I just seal it up with an unaltered lid until I’m ready to use it?  In other words, how do I prep a sample for longer term storage so I don’t have to buy another block of grain spawn, later?

I’m not opposed to just storing a tissue sample on a slant, but I’m looking for the best method to preserve what I have so I can make more grain spawn later.

How are these jars looking to you guys? I was dumb so it's hulled millet and it's been 3 days after shaking it at 70% colonization. I'm 99% sure the condensation on the top of the jars is due to the wild temperature swings I have in this room.
