Yea, I am aware that there are a ton of mushrooms growing out here. I've always wanted to hunt for shrooms but I was living in the city (Manila) at the time. I actually tried hunting one time for about 15 minutes in some fields in the province but someone asked me what I was doing because I was on his property lol. I asked him about the mushrooms that grow around there and he says a bunch of mushrooms grow, but we have to watch out for the "white poisonous" ones, which I think he was talking about pan cyans lol.

Is it best to go foraging during rainy season or after? It has been rainy season since June.

The messed up thing is they have been cracking down on shrooms lately because stupid mfs have been mixing it with meth, cocaine, and other hard drugs and getting caught. Shrooms were basically in the grey area before, they never really cared about shrooms before unless you get on their bad side. I'm kind of worried about what I should say when I go hunting and someone asks me what am I doing like what happened before. Many people out here HATE "drugs" including marijuana which is in the same category as drugs like meth. If you smoke weed out here for example you're automatically considered an "addict" which is one of the worst things you can be out here. One of the root causes of that mentality in my opinion is the propaganda and miseducation we have been bombarded with our whole lives to this day. And the last president's Duterte's war on drugs where TENS OF THOUSANDS of people were murdered made it even worse. Right when I'm having great success with cultivation is when they start cracking down, smfh.

But anyways, thank you also for the info on the shroomery market. I have always wondered about that and how it works.

Most of the videos I see on youtube use a bunch of shit like malt, peptone, corn syrup, dextrose, etc. Are multiple ingredients like that even needed and does it make the LCs somehow better? Or is a recipe like just plain corn syrup and water good enough?

I do worldwide shipping, but I only have P. natalensis prints to giveaway at the moment, but hopefully should have some cube varieties really soon and I have some pans in fruiting, the variety TTBVI but it's only been a couple of days.

However, those should fruit really quickly from what I've read, but nothing is certain when your a noob like me

I have another pan variety Weza in grain at the moment too, assuming I get fruit there will be prints to giveaway of that one too.

Sounds like trespassing is sketchy and the consequences of getting caught doing what you are actually doing are harsh at best. Personally I'd just take a basic field sample ccollection kit with you to collect spores and tissue samples in the field, that way you are not collecting actual mushrooms or anything tangible. A sterilized jar full of cotton swabs, a stack of ziplock bags, some sterile tooth picks, and a few rubber gloves would suffice. I carry my kit everywhere and gather samples of organisms pretty much everywhere.

Learn some basic bioprospecting terminology and the difference between bioprospecting and biopiracy. You could even print out non disclosure and profit sharing contracts which list a variety of targeted species such as Pseudomonas fluorescens and Pseudomonas putida and before stepping on someones land, go up to the house/building/people and ask for permission. Both of those bacteria are commonly found on wild mushroom fruit bodies and that gives you a further layer of vernacular as well as if you explain that you are looking for bacteria commonly found on mushrooms the folks might steer you right toward them. Typically people care about privacy and maybe getting paid.

If you do collect bacteria they are valuable. If you sell them it is proper to hook up the owner/native who helped you.

Be careful. Don't get shot or arrested.
