Ya, I gotta agree here. I think that this has alot to do with why it is no longer flowing in quantities at Dead shows. Too many of the wrong kind of people showing up looking for it. I'd rather have a nice, mellow scene and have to hunt some for mine, than have a bunch of dumbasses showing up spoiling the scene because they can get acid there. I think it's just a sacrifice that we have to make if we want to keep our scene alive. This said though, I still wish I had the hookups that I had in the 90's!

I wish I could of seen it like it was back in the day. I know Bonnaroo 2003 was a taste of whats possible but it brought a crowd out that was just fucking shady. For what I've gathered listening to older heads this sumemr I don't think it'll be coming back for awhile.

Yeah, I hear there was a fair amount at the Roo in 03, but I also heard of people charging outlandish prices for mediocre quality there.
On one hand, I'd like to see it available like it was
On the other, It's nice to go to a dead show and see mostly cool kids instead of a bunch of stupid custie's and the shady folks who wheel and deal with them

Very little shadyness. Just a good all around vibe, people were happy and in a good mood, didn't see or hear about anyone getting ripped off with RC's. There was very cheap mushrooms everywhere and fairly good pot at a fair price. Acid even stuck it's head out a few times. I hardly seen any drug kids there looking to score. ect.
