You guys talking about transgender regret?


My best friend is balls deep into the LGBT community(hehe) and he has told me that he has met a lot that has regret and a lot that has no regret.


So my takeaway is that when it comes to that subject it seems completely circumstantial.

We need comprehensive longitudinal studies that track long-term follow-up on the current crop of "trans" children. The big gender clinics that were supposed to refused to provide the data to the Cass Report. One might think they'd be happy to if everyone was doing so great.

Instead, when you try and find this data, you'll get incredibly worthless self-reported studies. The biggest ones they love to trot out employ the most insane example of selection bias; shit's so methodologically flawed that it should be criminal to reference it.

They specifically poll those who currently consider themselves MtF or FtM or whatever. Unsurprisingly, when eligibility in the study hinges on currently identifying as trans, the detransition rates are extremely low!

These are the "studies" that the kids cite, believing everything is near risk-free. It's messed up.

A mod goes where he wants, buddy. I got more opinions. I also think pitbulls should be bred out of existence. Why are you so invested in stopping discussion on gender cult mutilations?

You’ve monopolized the thread. They apparently ran you out of politics; in the sexuality forum, you don’t go there with this subject because you’d probably receive too much pushback from people who have an interest and are informed on this topic—so, you’ve camped out here and are attempting to ruin this thread.

I can't think of a less appealing area online than discussing sexuality with Shroomery dudes. Politics is essentially a thread where the same 7 people keep sharing conspiracy screenshots, rooting for terrorists who set children on fire. Dunking on those kinds of people isn't very mentally stimulating. Plus Enlil keeps banning me.

Do you ever consider that if you weren't spazzing on the topic, it'd be more likely to die off naturally? Or that if it doesn't, it's because people want to discuss it? Chill, little bro. It ain't that serious. Maybe you should go kick it in the Shroomery Sex Dungeon. You can do recon on neovaginas or something and come back to drop knowledge on me.

Spoiler alert, though: the informed people are on my side. Those with ulterior motives are lying about everything on yours. There's nothing stopping you from pushing back and correcting me on stuff. Since you aren't, I think you might be ignant on much. That's cool. It's just odd you vehemently support it while knowing so little.

New Unpopular Opinion:

While some of them suck, first amendment auditors perform an insanely vital service and we need more of them. The Westboro Baptist Church were like the perfect canaries in the coal mine for free speech laws, too. So yeah, more people should be performing audits. That is, of course, unless they're going to CHEMICALLY CASTRATE CHILDREN WHO CAN'T CONSENT!

I remember selling my SNES to pay for part of a PlayStation.  Regretted it for years because I lost access to FF2 for a long time.  Also, OG Ogre Battle was less playable on PS because of the load time

If this truly isn’t an issue and it’s definitely not happening as you seem to imply by not answering me, why are you so upset about us thinking it is?

The reason it matters is because Republicans have made it a rallying call. The trans book reading parties are “secretly indoctrination Facilities”
“Trans kids don’t exist”
This is some very harmful and dangerous rhetoric that leads to genocides. They’ve been been talking like that for a while now. It’s been ramping up in intensity. So having people talk about how trans kids shouldn’t exist.

Is a very disturbing trend that is gaining steam and has disturbing implications for peoples freedoms.
Now I don’t want to weigh in on whether I think kids should transition. I think that’s up to them. I don’t think I should have any decision in that process. It’s not my decision.

The rhetoric has been getting hammered a lot like the “invasion of illegal immigrants” there have been people crossing the border. There have been people crossing the border forever. It is hardly an invasion.
That kind of exaggeration is propaganda, and the Republicans have been hammering people with it.

Headies is passionatly arguing against something that I have observed. It’s an election year.

And the border and trans rights are the main things on their ticket. So they are hammering it hard. I feel like the topics the Republicans have been complaining about have been extremely blown out of proportion because they need people terrorized to feel like they have to go and vote.

I have actually been observing what they’ve been doing though. They have refused to pass border funding for a year. So that they can continue to complain about it.
