It’s not that they’re inept, it’s that there is no incentive to do anything.

Why fuck over your donors in order to placate the people who will vote for you regardless? And even if they don’t vote for you, now you get to fundraise for an election cycle off of the other people being bad and in power.

The worse things get, the more moderates will oscillate between the parties, guaranteeing tenuous power. But tenuous Democratic Party power might as well not be power at all.

Of course, if Dems made things better they’d enjoy perpetual victories and power, but this scenario involves shivving capital (and making significantly less money themselves), so they go with the former.

It was entertaining from the perspective of an outside country, Mr T's ol shenanigans sure put sure spruce in the wood.

Some new crazy story every week from sharpying a hurricane map, to suggesting nuking a hurricane, the ol inject bleach light in ass, pussy grabbing crazy stuff etc.
