I remember a girl

She was taking a womens studies class while we were together. She hated men at the time. I said some bad things and she didn't like me so much. Some of em were mistakes, and some of them were deliberate mistakes, you know just to push her buttons. She said some bad things too but when I called her on them it came out all wrong. I wonder how she is now, whether she still hates men as much, whether she hates men even more now. If I saw her again I don't know what I'd say to her. I don't know if I'd smile or scowl or pretend not to care. I don't know if she hated her own sluttiness or weakness or if she was bi or a lesbian or lonely or insecure because of her bad haircut. She drove an old clunker and smoked like a chimney. It was probably one of the worst months of her life but it was the best month of mine. I miss her a lot.
