Kerry gets elected President............then what?
    #2801012 -

Bush has united a lot of people and caused a lot of people to become more involved in politics. It's caused a lot of people to try and fight for change.

If Kerry gets elected, will this all end? Will people become complacent again? Will many people decide that everything is ok again?

In order for something to happen "again", it has to have happened in the first place.

There can be no again in this case.

They deserve the brunt of the bitching now.

:nonono:

No matter who becomes president im sure ill defend him alot in these forums and debates....

I dont think Bush or Kerry are as bad the popular parties like to make out....and i know that they would each leave power peacefully after 4 or 8years which is more than can be said about 99% of the worlds past and present rulers....

Kerry is a liberal. Name the last liberal President that we have had? Clinton was a moderate conservative. Even Jimmy Carter was a Southern Democrat and no liberal. We don't like to elect liberals. Since the age of Reagan, liberals are even embarrassed to admit that they are liberal.

The Democrats should have put Liberman and Zell Miller on the ticket. Howard Dean had a better chance with mainstream America, and he was a hell of a lot more conservative than Kerry.

I would vote for Lieberman/Miller or Miller /Lieberman over the current administration. The great failing of the Democratic party is that they are only offering hideous choices. Al Gore was a hideous option. Bill Clinton was a hideous option, except it took us too long to realise it (both Bush 1 and Dole were better men). John Kerry makes those Bozos look sane. What the fuck could they have been thinking when they made Nancy Pelosi a leader of anything?

1) Clinton was not a moderate conservative, rather a moderate liberal is more appropriate.

2) Dean, along with other candidates running for president this year, were further left of Kerry, making Kerry look like a better choice, but in reality he is a very hard core liberal. But to say Kerry is left of Dean, I think, is ridiculous.

Learyfan has it right. That halfwitted monkey does not stand a chance at winning.

this summer I petitioned for several ballot issues in my state, and inevitably people always asked if i had a petition to impeach Bush. Of the thousands of people I met, very, very few seemed to actually like Bush.

His whole fucking family should be banned from politics forever.

I've often wondered this. I wonder if Kerry beating Bush will somehow delay the revolution our country needs.
