These kinds of polemics will not win swing voters and change the opinions of any open minded person. You already have to be indoctrinated into a very narrow (IMO unrealistic) political typology to buy any the claims Mr. Livergood makes. The problem is that you already have to hate Bush to believe any of his highly partisan and sensational opinions. Independents and undecided voters are independent often because they do not believe this type of propaganda for either side.

If he had made an argument based on established facts, and not the same old unsupported 'Bush Lied', 'No War for Oil' mythology, and not deliberately over-simplified and distorted the facts, people might take him as credible. Fortunately, the far-left hasn't realised they won't change any minds with the same old knee-jerk claims.

Sure. Becoming more deadlocked in the illusion of "democracy" projected by the Republicrats (ie:republicans and democrats are the same machine) is surely the best thing for this country.

Are you performing an excercise of deliberate ignorance or what?

Dude, what are you on?

Like when you posted the picture of Kerry and his running mate "Sen. John Edwards" (Wellstone). You already had me rolling then.

By the way, I don't really understand the basis for a "Muslims for Kerry" campaign. Kerry's record in no way indicates that he would be any less interventionist in the Muslim world. In fact, he's on record stating that he doesn't favor bringing home troops from abroad.

Kerry wishes to internationalize the Iraq effort so that it no longer has the brand name of a U.S. occupation. Bush is stubborn, Kerry is able to adapt.

Bush has been asking for international support for a long time. He never wanted for us to do it alone.

Aside from a lot of rhetoric, how does Kerry intend to "internationalize" the Iraq effort? By involving officials from other countries whose populaces are unwilling to get involved? By involving NATO and the UN? I'm sure an increase in the beuraucratic quagmire is exactly what that country needs. Why would anyone trust the motives of an international governing body who answers to no one?
I'll agree that there are many things very wrong with the US "liberation". In fact i'm pretty much entirely opposed to everything about this "war". But that doesn;t mean i'm gonna get suckered into voting for a candidate who is no more worthy of my vote than W. Voting should be a decisive act, not a half-assed strategy guided by quips and cliches like "lesser of two evils" "enemy of my enemy...". The only way voting will ever truly matter is if people are willing to vote the way they truly want to, instead of for who they feel they must in order to avoid discomfort.

Hate Bush but don't really wanna vote for Kerry? Then don't. Vote for a third party or yourself or Frank Zappa. The logic that we must vote for Kerry or else Bush will ruin the country is a fantasy. The status quo will remain for another four years with Bush, or the status quo will remain with Kerry, with a slight alteration in the surface political rhetoric. I'd sure like to see a little courage from the voting public. A little integrity of decision. A little willingness to endure perceived shittiness in the name of a greater cause and that cause is the breaking of the stalemate between the Democans and Rebublicrats.

Leave it to Kerry to say anything that will convince the insipid, intellectually lazy Amerikan voters to pick him. Hell, he might as well say he's the best of the two uncandidates because he swatted W. with the paddle at the Skull&Bones barbque out in the Redwoods more times than W. swatted him.

Kerry's policies (if he can persuade congress to implement them) would immediately halt the booming recovery in the US.
