Ahh... such positive people over here at the shroomery. As you can see i dont have much experience with shrooms, and instead of insulting me you could have just provided me with the correct information. I have eaten copelandias before but I would just pick em, clean em, and then eat a handful and shoot off into space.
By the way they are wet. Would it even matter if they were wet are dry, when drying isnt the mushroom suppost to keep most of the potency?? Or am I asking stupid questions again?

fresh mushrooms contain 90% water and ten percent dry matter, thus dry mushrooms weigh 1/10 as much as wet mushrooms, get it? and no, when you dry mushrooms you destroy the psilocin.

As someone who has collected over 1,000,000 specimens of Copelandia, I can honestly say that 7 to 10 fresh mushrooms is a level two high.

Here are a few example specimens so you have an idea how many to eat.

ANd the smaller ones posted below about 7 to ten that size, plue eat the big one to to make eleven shrooms.

or seven to ten or so of the ones posted below here.

Sorry but I could not find the photo which I wanted to post.

Holographic Mind, you do not destroy the psilocine in drying, but you can lose all of the psilocine if you make a liquid drink of the mushrooms because psilocybine is water soluable and psilocine is not.

Many dried shrooms have been found to be high in psilocine and low in psilocybine.

For instance, T. Stijve analysed numerous collections of Copelandia cyanescens from Thailand, Australia and Hawaii.

What he found was amazing because the Copelandia species from Hawaii (dried by me) were very high in psilocybine and very low in psilocine. However, on the other hand, the same species collected in Austrlia were very high in psilocine and very low in psilocybine. Those results are published in:

Atijve,T. 1992. Psilocine, psilocybine, serotonine, and urea in Panaeolus cyanescens from various origins. Persoonia vol. 15(1):117-121.

This article not only provides the results of chemical analysis of this species from three different countries but also presents the results of human experiments by four volunteers in a controll supervised experiment.
