Ah, so you DO believe the US should be able to coup whoever we like without resistance.

There's another name for you, Kwyjibo.  :cookiemonster:

Once again, we can ask Kryptos what he thinks rather than attribute beliefs to him that he hasn't expressed. Why are you afraid of asking directly and instead insist on falsely claiming people believe things they haven't said? If we ask Kryptos what he thinks and he says you're wrong will you admit you lied yet again. Of course we know that will never happen and instead you'll just continue to lie.

HONEST QUESTION HERE PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS

***WHAT***** The hell is Putin getting out of this war? WHAT IS HE GAINING?

I'm honestly baffled please tell me

- Security from NATO being on his border
- No more threats to his only warm water port on the Black Sea which Ukraine promised Russia could lease through 2042
- Russian-Ukrainians finally living in relative peace in Donbas

...just to name a few.

Source that Russia didn't say it?  I couldn't find a source that Russia said it.

Again, if you can provide a source that "russia" said it, I'll believe it, I just haven't found one yet.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Logic.  Something severely lacking in this forum.

If someone says they are against gays, but has a gay relationship and hangs out in gay bars, isn't it logical to assume they aren't against gays as much as they say?

You're not using logic, you're just falsely claiming people said things they haven't. Stop lying. Calling this a war of agression doesn't mean you believe the US should be able to coup anyone they want without resistance, it's not logic, at best it's a stupid conclusion, at worst a blatant lie. Stop lying.

No, that is not what I said. You know what? I think this is an example of you lying about my position. I am going to report this post, because, this is another one of those times where you pretend to know someone else's state of mind.

you, you lying piece of Mod edit: Flame removed

Edit: Just to clarify: you spoke of my opinions, and therefore my state of mind. You were wrong. And as such, I can declare you to be a liar. You are lying. This is no mistake, this is a clear lie.

Like accusing someone of being a Russian agent?

Yes I agree, stop being stupid.

Are you implying that me being Russian makes my dick bigger than yours?

Yeah, probably.

Didn't pay attention to politics back then. Not to the same extent. I was still in school back then, and I remember making a 9/11 mural in '03 as part of a school project.

I also remember, in 04, or 05 maybe 06...being very ashamed of what I did. Of making that mural. I was ashamed that I had ever spoken in favor of the US in that situation, or that I had participated in that "patriotic mural". That was right about the time I was learning about laws of war, and international politics in general, and I definitely did not feel good about my uninformed position from earlier.

Mid-Bush, I think Iraq was an illegal and stupid occupation war that should never have happened. And I think that a very large number of generals, consultants, and frontline soldiers need to go to the Hague.

Let's all take a moment to relax a bit.

If we can't discuss this topic reasonably and honestly it may be time for the thread to get shitcanned and/or for some of us to take a break whether voluntarily or otherwise.

Please take this suggestion to heart because I really do prefer to let the discussion continue but not at the expense of the integrity of this sub-forum.

War of aggression just sounds like a tautology to me. Why are we even bother using it lol

Thank you for sharing. You and Kryptos.

We all have a lot more in common than not and we should really remember that.

You guys notice no one responded to my previous post regarding those supporting war to speak up? I mean it's still early, but I know war is not something anybody here prefers over diplomacy.

It started out as a war of aggression but I'm starting to think it might be justified if the experimental biolab mutant soldiers turn out to be factual.

Your previous post about people supporting the war was too much of a distinctive cut and dry situation.

It is much more appealing to support...unpopular...interests when there is rhetorical or otherwise cover to pretend that is not actually what you support.

Nobody supports the war. People simply support asking questions about the war, and who did what and who knows who and who can we blame, ya know?

As Sun Tzu said: build your enemy a golden bridge to retreat.
