If unvaxed are the only ones dying then let us take each other out.  None of the people in this thread have any problems getting access to the shot if we don't want and we're only hurting ourselves then wtf?!?!?

You have the shot you're protected so let us enjoy being free to make our own decisions.


And koods of all people.  It's like you have this smugness like "how can you refuse something that is so obviously helpful and protective?"

Motherfucker the same way you can continued lighting up cigarettes when any and everyone knows that's obviously a horrible health choice!!!!

I give my firm and full and total commitment, here in front of my brothers and sisters and 'God', that I solemnly swear I will NOT tie up any health resources because of COVID.

I will also not go outside if I feel sick, and shall take appropriate measures to socially distance and mask up around members of the public.

I think we’re pretty fucked when the next, even more deadly pandemic hits. The “vaccines cause autism” conspiracy theory years ago sparked a movement that in a lot ways contributed to today’s vaccine paranoia, and a lot of those same voices are behind much of the Covid vaccine misinformation today. With all the added conspiracies and fear porn that have popped up surrounding this one I imagine that millions more “free thinkers” will be outright refusing all vaccinations in the future, including the ones their kids should be getting and the eventual ones developed during future pandemics.

Vaccine technology is the greatest achievement of science and medicine and pretty miraculous when you actually think about it. With ‘help’ from the pathogen itself, humans created something that can use the body’s own strengths to establish a defense that can easily fight off diseases that otherwise could maime or kill that body.  The earlier human race with its far more primitive technology used to get wrecked consistently by every new pathogen that breezed through, that’s largely avoidable now.

It’s pretty wild that we’ve come far enough to develop a technology that (so long as most people take it) eradicates the risks of these diseases almost entirely, protecting the elderly and medically compromised from dying and suffering pointlessly and keeping the younger and stronger members of the community healthy enough to keep society and economies functioning well enough to keep putting food on the tables...

and then we refuse it due to political reasons, poor risk assessment, misinformation/conspiracy theories, and because millions of people have a deep fear of needles and will use any of the other mentioned excuses to further bolster their not wanting a shot :lol::facepalm:

Vaccines certainly are a great achievement, as are antibiotics.

Smallpox are eradicated, and leprosy is not far behind.

That saves so much suffering.

You mean it's taken the chains off of natural selection and denied mother nature her ability to limit and curtail when a species becomes too numerous for its own good - as she does for ALL other species on the planet - so that we have been able to grow and divide unchecked and so become our own and every other species on the planets worst nightmare, fucking and pillaging the habitats of all other animals in our unrestrained growth because of our petty, emotional, small minded fear of sickness and death?

Dr Campbell brings us some what seems to be very good news, enough for him to do a christmas eve special:|



What appears to be the case is that most Omicron cases appear to be over in a week and patients noninfective after 8 days.

Symptoms are more like the common cold in nature and severity.

Covid even outcompetes the common cold right now.

In the UK in the last WEEK a whopping 1 in 35 people had active Omicron and in London even 1 in 20, so a population average of 5% simultaneously has been reached.

Nonetheless hospitalizations and deaths appear to remain low.

Some degree of immunity is spreading very rapidly,which, if the price to pay is acceptable, appears to amount to a natural forced vaccination.

If this holds true prognosis is very good :christmas:

If Omicron indeed displaces all other covid and doesnt mutate to a super bug, and if indeed it proves to be comparable to a common cold (20% of cold are other types of coronavirus so its not unheard of) in severity, Omicron will be the forced vaccination that humans cant politely enforce. Omicron is so contagious that you WILL get it, and when it goes, you likely have a degree of immunity.

They got offered a free vaccine but declined.

They got a $$ incentive to get shot up but declined

Now they get vaxxed by direct virus exposure

As per Dr Campbell, Omicron is rushing through africa like a bullet train (kenya and uganda are far removed from south africa) causing tons of infections but do not seem to cause massive overtaxing of hospitals or mass death.

If this is true its a fantastic christmas present that possibly seals the fate of the pandemic THIS WINTER :Awemazing:

Thing is though, if BILLIONS will get infected this winter, you can be guaranteed that Omicron will spawn multiple variants. Its a numbers game and the number of to-be infections is so high that they better start numbering Omicron variants lest they run out of greek letters.

ITS NOT WINTER in those equatorial African countries where Omicron runs rife, so this one will do its thing rain or shine. If the African sun doesnt kill it, our summers wont mean dick to it.
