All these drug users causing the taxpayers all this money and endangering themselves and everyone around them should be forced to get sober. Make their lives terrible until they do, or force them into camps so they can't endanger the rest of us anymore. It's just unacceptable.

You; like any other arrogant know-it-all here; assume a great deal about me from the scant content I post relating to my life.

Hubris hubris hubris. A good 30% of people online love to assume they know so much about others from the little people share of themselves (as compared to the enormity of their existence). I don't know why, but it's laughable, and very sad.

It's fun to fantasize about putting the unvaxed in camps. Mostly because we know this government is utterly incapable of mobilizing any large scale covid response, so it's total fantasy, one where our system actually succeeds at something. We weren't even able to lockdown for real even for a week.
There is no public let alone political will for anything like more lockdowns, the idea that there is any serious will to impose something stricter is laughable. It's a joke, kids, don't let it fly over your heads.
At the end of the day, the anti-vaxers got their way. Restrictions are loosening, meanwhile, they do all the dying. Good job guys, you did it.

For the untreated addict being sober is making their lives terrible, they don't have the benefit of an anesthetic anymore, drugs arnt the problem, many addicts will tell you they felt off ever since they were a kid before they ever used,  drugs are a solution, running out is the problem

I'm not Australian, so I can't really speak to the facts on the ground there. It does seem like they have been more strict there. They've also had far fewer deaths. Funny how that works.
