Have you actually stepped back and thought that these are just people shitposting on the internet, some are troll posts specifically trying to trigger you and the anti-mandate side into melting and dropping the dumb Hitler/nazi comparison bomb, some are just people venting their emotions about the futility of the situation through a hypothetical scenario that they know would never happen. The thought of having to quarantine people into segregated camps and torture them to get them to take one simple public health measure (that they’ve already taken dozens of times for other diseases) that might very well save them from sickness and death and will also help protect everyone in the community... it’s an absurd thought and people will obviously shitpost about it when it gets brought up.

The victim mentality seems to be the driving force of the anti-mandate/anti-vax side. “Look at these mean vaccinated people, they want to torture us!”. The reality is at this point almost all that can be said about the virus and the vaccines has been said repeatedly (apart from Omicron developments), we all just want life to get back to normal and want people to stop needlessly filling the hospitals and dying... it’s all getting pretty old at this point

The problem most people have with this, is that not taking all preparations to not get Covid means you are endangering others.

Take Omicron.

Every person who gets omicron gives it to 5-7 others.

Lets take 6 as an average, and lets follow this for 5 generations, which is a period of less that 2 weeks.

If you for avoidable reasons get Omicron, less than 2 weeks later 6x6x6x6x6 = 7777 people have gotten Omicron because of you.

Now suppose that Omicron has a lethality comparable to flu, about 0.09% or so.

Because of you not getting with the program, in 2 weeks 7777 people will get Omicron and of those, 7 will die, DIE, because you didnt get the vaccine or adhered to the protocols.

That's a big deal.
