And forreal tho,crazy to think bottles of water are sold for over 1$, 600$, even at a half gallon bottle, that's 300 gallons of water, even my utility bill is aroun 80$ on average, so about a half year even. Crazy to think that that's the EQUIVALENT of what it would take to get so MANY people water for so LONG.

People living in a village who drink from unprocessed tropical surface water, generally have no frame of reference what water is supposed to even taste like.

So if you switch from some stagnant muddy water animals die in to crystal clear well water, the well water will have its own flavor, but a much cleaner flavor than the water clothes are washed in and animals poop in.

Isn't bottled water, well/spring water? That's what we're giving here!

I'm still being really intimidated by sending crypto and opening up an acct with a random bitcoin wallet place.. I'm like QM, I have $100 right now, either cash or in my bank, that I am happy to give immediately to someone trusted here but im really, really bad at figuring out how to transfer XLM (do all bitcoin wallet places do xlm?) to you, Asante.  I still am very eager to help!  If we cant figure a way out, I'll just try reading up on this stuff later when I have a moment

Just think of paying with crypto like paying with Paypal, but more anonymous. Similar levels of difficulty to set up an account.

We'll have to find the safest, most cost effective way.

US banks often charge $25 and up to transfer to Europe, that would be completely unacceptable because it destroys 25% of the donations.

Please bear with us, we're looking for a workaround that may give the donations a lot more punch.

In the mean while, you might ask a friend whom you have no problem with knowing that you're a shroomerite :naughty: if he'd like to chip in on your donation. It increases the total sum and might bring more members in.

I started a contest among our graphic artists to create an artistically appealing well sign

We got artistic friends, might as wel ask them for a little help!

Give me a bit of time guys. I dont know ethereum and i work an over full time job anf have a wife and kids as well as other things like house shit i gotta do.

My plan is to have my money to Asante in less than 7 days. (Again, ive never done ethereum so of theres bank processing holds, there may be things i havent factored.)

We are very far already 82% of 1 well is already donated, so 1 well is definitely going to happen, because the 82% is in my possession and the $100 I pledged is exactly that 18%, so the first one is already paid for now lets see how many wells we can realize.

You're thinking of donating an epic sum, $1000, that's 1 1/3 well by itself. That likely will be the largest donation unless one of the members blows our mind even more.

How do you feel about the art contest? Having our sites designers design a sign that the benefactors will vote for?

I think its win-win for all to do it that way, but how do you feel about it?

Word man, that sounds really good. I'll just plan on sending you cash if that's cool when the time comes (I'm good anytime).  I ended up using all the money in my bank acct today paying off an old debt and I need to wait a lil time before putting money back into my acct so I'd prefer just sending someone trusted da cold hard cash

Just an idea, and as much as ide love to see some ripple lyrics, or even a 13 point bolt ha, on the sign, is there anyway they could design it?
Like reach out to a project manager and see if they can get in touch with a community leader with access to the future sight and see what they come up with? If it weren't to much work.?
Maybe their community name, tribe name, country flag, a community saying or something?
And then maybe like a shroomery logo more descrite?
Idk just an idea.
I like the art contest idea too tho. I'm sure there would probably be alot of submissions that might be to complex for such a sign. Idk
