5-htp MIGHT be able to be used....but i'm not sure if the shrooms will cleave the hydroxyl group during their growth or not. I'm currently looking into a chemical way of acheiveing this cleavage, due to the fact that tryptamine is a fun building block, but thats the only way i can think of. Good luck, and stay frosty.

how much 5-htp would u estimate is needed? i wish i had my own house so ic ould start experiment with things like this :frown: anyway, know where i can get tryptamine - or is it illegal?

JLF has tryptamine (indole)..i THINK they are the same thing...INPUT PLZ.

Indole and tryptamine aren't the same thing. IIRC, tryptamine would be much more compatible with the mushroom. DMT is even better, because all the fungus needs to do is slap a hydroxyl-group on the 4 position and it's got psilocin.

indoor grown mushrooms are generally weaker in potentcy then outdoor grown mushrooms. but but that much

yeah ive heard that they r weaker to. y is this? do they make psilocybin when they're in harsh enviornments or something? i thought that htings grown indoors were generally better
