Mushrooms aren't toxic to your liver, or any other organ in the body.

It would be impossible to fill your stomach up with enough mushrooms to overdose. So yes, your stomach would split apart from too much food before you overdosed.

lots of crazy rumors about psychedelics, probably because they are so mystical and whatnot. like take a little tab and go on this 12hr 'trip' with pseudo-hallucinations, bright colors, amplification of the senses, tasting colors or seeing sounds ect. is all unimaginable to people that have never taken them and they think anything that does that much to you must be bad and hurt you due to government programing (i.e. anything that feels good is illegal or socially unacceptable unless we can tax it) sex, drugs, rock and roll all that good stuff. i always find it funny that 90% of people that i hear spew these rumors, almost always argue till no end, always seem to know someone or afoaf that whatever rumor they are saying happened to, like the orange juice thing, or going into a pool with a sheet in the pocket and going crazy, i've meet a lot of people that all happen to know these people that this happened to yet no established literature, medical journal ref. or newspaper clipping to prove it. and whenever you argue and prove valid points and proof they just say it's because your on drugs and you head is fucked up or someshit. :stoned:

people say the same exact bullshit with ecstacy, acid, and shrooms. i just say "yeah whatever", because people like that are so hard headed and dont want to listen to whatever you tell them. apparently they listened to whoever told them the bullshit. why the wont listen to me, i dont know. i guess they just wanna look be cool.

another thing, please stop lumping all types of electronica into the term "techno". techno, believe it or not, has its very own sound.

ya, i recently tripped with my cousin, and he is the most mis-informed person i have ever met, regarding drugs

he seems to beilive that 'shrooms are "just old mushrooms, wich have become moldy" and that why you trip, from the old moldy mushrooms

i tried to explain to him that he is grossly mis-informed, but ofcourse didnt listen to me :rolls-eyes:
then i tryed to tell him about erowid and hes like "its on the internet, its not real"

My friend Kristi used to tell me that active shrooms are just regular mushrooms that have been shit on by cows, and the reason why they are active is because of the chemicals in the cow shit.

There's no blood in your brain. :rolleyes:

Strokes happen when there is a disruption in the supply of blood to the brain, and eating mushrooms certainly doesn't give you a stroke. This guy is grossly misinformed about more than just drugs.

In order to convince sombody that the myths they believe are myths, it helps for them to have an open mind. Some people will hold on to unsupported beliefs like their lives depend on it, and there isn't much you can do.

i have given up on informing people. Either they dont listen or they are to stupid to understand. If i get all defensive about it i usually get the "you're just saying that cause your so strung out on all the drugs you do" routine.

In my country;
a doctor in human sciences (don't know if that seems like a correct term; but you get the idea: psychology/sociology...) made a study through his university;
and came up with a 300pg document which states that the druglaw and its reinforcement by politics doesn't have 1 good effect!
He pretty much whiped the floor with every politician that wanted to have a debate with this guy;

Result:
Nobody mentions him anymore; everybody ignores his ideas, the guy is broke (those studies and researches cost thousands of bucks) and no change on the subject is apparent in the near future.
So don't get your hopes up; as long as the politicians keep holding the people dumb; you will come across many people that think that LSD fries your brain, XTC that leaves holes in your brain or some shit like that.

It's the sad truth that nobody can actually talk to the people about this matter in order to enlighten folks that drugs aren't bad.
