The Fukushima story was over five years old and it was based on western media stories:

Move Over Chernobyl, Fukushima is Now Officially the Worst Nuclear Power Disaster in History

You might not be interested in a story about earthquakes, but that doesn't make it fake news.

We had an earthquake in DC, but half that report was about how it stole attention away from Libya and how terrible it would be if New York City had to be evacuated if the nearby reactor had a meltdown, despite there being absolutely no danger of that happening. No where in that story did they mention anything about damage to the national cathedral or the Washington monument, that the city was in gridlock. That the metro was running all trains at 15 mph. That major buildings were closed for inspection. No they talked about Libya and Fukushima. Come on dude. That is pushing an agenda

For perspective, the Washington monument just reopened after 8 years of repairing damage from the earthquake, but RT didn’t say a fucking word about the obvious damage to the most iconic structure in the city.

CounterPunch.org is a western news source? Looks like a western click-bait source to me. Just read some of today’s headlines...

I wrote for a couple of these “viral news” sites. They just want readers to keep clicking. There’s no accountability.

Thanks for clarifying you thought "near" was fake news in both stories.

Again, that's highly subjective when it comes to military exercises.

exposure to US dick swinging and claims of being threatened is arguably the most obnoxious part of being an English North American nation

but also genuinely do not think that any NATO ally could be convinced it was logistically acceptable or appropriate to send military out of Europe over to Canada
to an area of the country where we would not have the infrastructure to receive them -- Norway's latitude and climate is more in line with our sparsely populated Yukon or Northwest Territories
as much as the potential of all sorts of military tourism dollars coming in to the Canadian economy appeals to me personally

I didn't ever say they don't push an agenda.  I said they don't put out fake news as often as CNN and NYT.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Holy shit... This bitch has gone fucking crazy. Who's the reality tv show star now?

She's so shrill too... Honestly, I could never vote for a woman in 2020.

JP... But, if she thinks playing the V-card is gonna make her fucking president, she's an utter fool, particularly post-Hillary Clinton losing to Trump. She is just coming off downright childish now. Prior to this primary, I would have thought this kind of behavior to be beneath her. I have lost all respect for Senator Elizabeth Warren.

“So shrill”
“V-card”

The Bernie Bros are back!

I just can’t support Sanders because of the toxicity of his supporters. Voting warren. Four years under a cult of personality is enough.

60% of Sanders supporters are women.
He leads with Hispanic voters.
He leads with nonwhite voters.
More women donate to Sanders than any other candidate.

koods is the nervous kid standing on the diving board thinking he’ll crack his neck if he jumps off while all the other kids are in the pool having fun.

Actually no that’s not even a good analogy because that’s assuming his dismission of Sanders is based on fears of electability. He just wants Sanders to lose because it’ll piss off the meany heads on twitter.

Oh btw, did your great-grandparents ALSO have stories of having to eat pigeons, shoe leather and hair? My grandpa’s army buddy broke down once (he was obv weak spirited like me) about how his family had to eat his sister (he was 6 at the time) back in Odessa because otherwise the whole family would starve.

They left Sicily to escape the mafia and worked the coal mines of Pennsylvania.

How did they decide to eat the sister? Did she die, or just pull the short straw?

Now imagine the mafia renames you and everyone keeps calling you by the name they gave you.

She was the youngest, most likely to die within the week. They were all skin and bones though. Not quite what you see in the German death camp pictures, but close enough.
The great-grandpa who told me the stories said he actually shrank in height and never got back to normal, but idk if that’s true or just part of his mental trauma.

I think the saddest part about that is, what kind of man lets anyone eat his sister? He should have eaten himself. Your grandpa's army buddy is kind of a bitch.

Seriously? Idk, the kind who’s 6 years old with parents who don’t want to see more of their children die of starvation?

Cannibalism seems to be finding it's way into a lot of these threads lately. I'm sure there's someone to blame for this.
