it's pretty sick (:puke:-sick, not badass-sick) that a first-year, inexperienced politician with radical ideas has "the most coveted endorsement" of the democratic primary.  i don't find her all that attractive, but apparently lots of men and women are drooling over her; if not for her looks, nobody would be giving her any attention at all.

I'm liking AOC more and more.  She's becoming a professional and she's not dumb.

If course she’s not dumb. She graduated cum laude. Republicans just like to engage in class warfare by constantly bringing up she was a waitress.

i graduated cum laude with my bachelor's.  it's really not that hard.  doesn't mean someone is smart.

Her looks definitely help, but she’s always a lawyer and she’s got great instincts when she’s grilling people in committee hearings. She’s got a humble upbringing which a lot of people can associate with, and a pretty solid leftist ideology.

I still like Ilhan Omar more though.

People make all kinds of claims on the internet.

I graduated from Yale law school and my day job is federal judge in the 4th circuit

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

You can get bachelor degrees at some community colleges.

But that’s not important. What is important is Bernie leading yet another California poll (up 2 points on Warren, 7 to Biden)

I can see Cornell West not being an asset because he appeals to radicals, who would vote for Bernie anyway. AOC works very well for Bernie. Her energy appeals to the young crowd, and they have little problem with what others see as her extremes. The issue with the young is not how they vote, but getting them to vote. I think she will be valuable to Bernie in the primaries and the general.

I agree with the Ecstatic that Bernie's road to victory depends very little on getting conservatives to crossover. It's based on a high turnout from people who share his philosophy.

Bernie already has the young vote, he doesn't need her for that demographic.

And yes, it would help Bernie to get some former Trump voters in the key states.  That's why AOC and West need to go right after the primary.

You turn off someone who wants Medicare For All by promoting all of this immigration and diversity rhetoric by parading around with those radicals.

There is a difference between Bernie has the young vote and Bernie can get the young turnout. There is some truth that immigration and diversity rhetoric could be viewed as baggage, but AOC is the threat of environmental disaster spokesperson, an issue where you don't agree but young people do for obvious reasons. In addition, quickly disassociating himself from AOC after the primaries would make Bernie look like an ass to the young. He's  got her and I bet you he sticks with her till the end. It would be out of his character to dump her.

New Morning Consult poll shows Bernie as the top 2nd choice of the other two top candidates:

@qman when you asked why Bernie isn’t more aggressive on the debate stage, this is why. Right now being the guy with the right ideas and not shutting on everyone else for being wrong is working for him. As Warren and Biden continue to sink (for multiple reasons), the largest share of their support is going to Bernie.

Do you just not favor the Latina look or is it her specifically?  Just curious.

Did you see the vid posted ITT?  Even her boob sweat is hot to me.

Did Trump help Bernie by going after Biden?

People at rallies start interrupting him with the burisma scandal now and sometimes he calls them fat and challenges them to a pushup contest.

Hecklers have been showing up to Bernie's rownhalls and whatnot too.  Trumpy disciples will lash out at anyone perceived as a threat to trumpy.  I don't know if that helps or hurts those candidates

Trump seems to go after every Dem candidate except for Bernie, I think he feels like the media does about it. Ignore him and don't give him any attention, even if it's negative.

i would go so far as to say i love "latina" women.  but something about her face just does not appeal to me.  then again, lots of typical "bombshell beauties" i don't find particularly attractive.

you have every right to strongly disagree, as it's only my opinion.  i haven't seen any interviews in a while, but the ones i saw when she hit the scene, she was a step or two away from sounding like a valley-girl.  i don't care if she speaks that way in normal life, but compose yourself and select your words carefully when attempting to be professional.  my two cents.

Besides being hot she's 30 years old and one of the most famous people in the House of Representatives. Her political future is enormous.
