my father was a navy officer all his life and attained the rank of OF4 in US terms before he retired




me on other hand I was on the wheel when the norwgeian navy crashed this frigate during my service, so I moved on to other studies after a year

the .5 micron filters were scavenged from mycobags, which I cant properly seal now anyway - it was natural123's idea, gj

I dont think the TC's or the "made guys" dislike any of us, for my thread they are just waiting for me to actually get to the part where I'm using my spawn,
thats what I would do if I was them

not last year - KNM trondheim had a "ground touching" in 2006 as they called it in the sea hearing. a sort of navy martial court thingie

interested in seeing how those 5m filters work out for you, i thought SFD was 2-3m and best for lids. idk, them bags be good tho, many rockin them things like they feed the world, heh

the .5 micron filters arent good enuff, no,we need .2 to be serious in this hobby. only using them cause they are a clear step up from no holes in lids which I think the followers of this thread agree with:thumbup:

nice that you say what you say about the bags, gonna work on getting a real sealer by next weekend, still got many with the filters still on, and as you see in the picture above, I even made a BRF/Verm bag that is now either contaminating or colonizing. Funny how that works huh

now its time to smoke a joint, finish today's sab work and then go trick n treating with my penis on my girlfriend

im thinking of doing another vid tbh, this hash I got is named "Ego" and it makes you very narcissistic

That is optimal.
People use micropore tape that is rated ??? - ??? microns.
Seeing as you have a hard time coming by filter material, what you have is sufficient.

we inoc our pfcakes the 28th, was cooling needle by shoot a little onto lab wipe, 3 vendor syringes. threw it into the bucket we mixed the brf/verm in, had some left-over in still, wondering what it will surprise with :lol:

yuh, the hash sounds good, don't do the vid on the trick or treat thing though. on second thought, you've already got legendary status this thread, go for it :dancer:

Back from the sab now, team!

We have a total of 3 decent lidded pf tek type jars. Dunno what is wrong with them now according to Shroomery other than not relying on a dry vermiculite barrier, which I think is annoying when it comes to inoculation and tilting the jar.

Inoculation today was done using the torch and a knife.
I have scalpels ordered.



Sab session was so so-so, THC sloppy shit. But a lot of shit got done:

1 agar jar that looked nice to:

3 brf/verm jars
4 new agar jars
1 brf/verm bag

All packed, sterilized, cooled down and inoculated today.

Im getting the strange feeling that some of the older posters here could relate to someone saying "it feels like I have two jobs now"



To me this looks like the agar might be pinning :smile:

i agree, that does appear to be the stuff of pins forming (primordia, yes?), still blurry tho.

i believe the primary thing differencing pftek from other brf/verm cakes is the use of the dry verm on top as a filter. if not using that dry verm top then they are brfcakes is all, and fine to call them such.

on vid, cool tunes, again. things i noticed in first 7min. consider conduct happy dance away from open arm holes, also flame to the side, it may not seem like much movement but i'll bet you are getting air currents thru arm holes and may be stirring chit up before you even begin. maybe hard to meditate for 10-15min sitting there but a more solemn approach than a celebratory one once you sit down to do your SAB work is likely to be better. ever have "couch-lock" from getting stoned? that's more in line with the heart rate and movement speed you want, your hash may be too stimulating for ya.

a lot of hand over open jar (angle jar so that doesnt happen), and consider if/how you clean that knife- if nothing but the very tip is flame sterile then treat the entire knife as dirty except for the tip. and no touching sterile/sanitized to unsanitary things outside SAB including gloved hands, laying knife down, etc. at 3:30ish you leave SAB front then get right back in it, if you touched something while out of camera did you ISO back up before going back in?

bottom of agar jar over top of receiving jar, plan in advance what you want to do with lids when doing transfers, remember, slow and deliberate movements. load all your jars and such in SAB before work (appears you did) and remove all when done, as in completed everything you wanted to do in session. only thing and reason you hands need go in/out of arm holes is to flame sterilize blade/loop/needle. altho you getting stuck trying to remove that jar out was humorous again you want still air in da box dude.

Now we have had more than enough of a break from this thread and this grow.
Time to get back in the driving seat, call the supporting orcs and start movin'. Sauron will not conquer middle earth by himself!

State of my Agar work:





Project goal is to be as close as possible to 150 grams dry by 15th of December.
I have decided I will need to have 30 jars worth of spawn, to have any chance at all at reaching the goal. Current situation is:
1: We have jar substrate spawn colonizing equal to 18 x 1/2 pint jars.
2: We have three Mycobags @ 500-700gram of substrate colonizing.
3: We have a few different half filled substrate jars, which are going to be cased in vermiculite inside the glass for top fruiting.
4:  We have 23 agar jars, with different stages of growth. All of them look either good or decent by inspection today, with maybe 1/3 of them having good looking rhizomorphic growth

By 14th of november, everything needs to be colonizing to have any chance of reaching a good amount by mid december. More spawn will have to be colonized.

Regular transfers from Agar to Substrate Jars:



Testing a different camera angle. Also testing doing
multiple agar drops for faster colonization, based
on people saying its feasible in other threads.

Also did a transfer to a bag today, but the whole process
was marred severely and not convincing enough to share
with the community.

Spoon:

1.  Pressure cooked spoon in foil for 20 minutes
2.  Isoed
3.  Flamed (couldnt get it red easily, but PC makes it redundant)
4.  didnt really fit in the shot glass, asshole spoon

Vermiculite

1.  Brought to field capacity
2.  Dried very slightly with tissue paper
3.  PCed for 50 minutes (with other jars, freerider)
4.  brought foiled into the SAB

In my inexperienced brain, i'm thinking one more transfer, then bags and fruit from bags. That would save some time, right?

probably not the best idea to ask advice from someone that still hasn’t managed to produce a a single fruit yet after 2.5 months he should have at least gotten lucky by now but he just ignores advice and does his own wacky shit. For some people its more about the journey than the destination I guess :shrug:


Lc or LI to bags works great, assuming you have a clean culture that is, which is the only thing you should worry about at first. Once you have a clean culture you can use it or expand it in lc, but if its the slightest bit contaminated liquids will make the problem waaay worse, but with a good clean LC you can pour a shitload into dryer prepped grain and get faster colonization than a wedge, but IMO LI or agar to millet the  g2g to bags is a better route, assuming you have a flow hood, otherwise a liquid injection might be a better option but I dont fuck around with needles and injection ports, a2g all day
