Just spawned the one jar to it's own tub. Getting tons of side and bottom pins.

Yeah that looks like a blue bruise.

I was not aware that sweet lady trich cud bruise the myc like that. That is a bummer. Well, if little nuclear white patches pop up, and i mean ultra fuckin nuclear white, it's curtains.

Ya know, i followed that upside down lid tek and i dried the fuck out of the sub where ever the gab sit above. Actually i tried for a couple grows i believe, and jst cud never get a sweet spot between died out spots and insufficient FAE. Had to mod my tubs.

I think you might be on to something here. All of the tubs I've spawned without a casing have had one dry corner... Might be the way air flows in my room or how I have my tubs set up.

Do you use a fan in your grow room?

Not really. Rains 50% of the time. Winter is prolly a little drier in my space due to a wall heater.

At the moment it's like 77F @ 54%. Kinda tropical really.
Box fan pointing out my window drawing cool air up from downstairs. Tubs are in a closet w/o doors.

Even with that setup, no direct air blowing on the tubs, clear lids sitting correctly on top but unlatched...the edges of my sub still dry. Not to the point of bluing, but there aint no little droplets over there.

i had the same problem s=with unmodded tubs. Only tried once or twice and decided to stick with mods. I really want to try pasties new design though

UPDATE:

I think my drying theory was correct. After misting multiple times a day, it eventually colonized fully, but the drying left a lasting effect: poor surface conditions which led to side pining. Maybe the second flush will be better after a good soak. Lesson learned. Never going without a top layer again since my room dries the shit out of everything
