Mono tub trich
    #26174368 -

Hey family, quick question. I recently had a tub that developed a decently sized trich (or another green mold) spot half way through 1st flush. I took it outside, very gently cracked the lid and poured salt over the contaminated area. I figured it wouldn’t get rid of it/ halt it that much but at least it might have cemented down some of the spore mass. Anyways, I let it finish fruiting in the corner of the house (highly tucked polyester in the holes in hopes of containing any trich spores. Today I took the tub out into my patio in nothing but my tighty-whites, took the lid off, poured more salt to keep the mold spores from getting as disturbed (hopeful). I picked a decent premature flush! I wore gloves and showered immediately after.

Now here’s my question/ advice seeking: what’s the harm in misting the shit out of it once and leaving it outside for a possible shitty 2nd flush? Will the trich spread and make more of a risk to deal with later? My climate is 90 degree consistent with 40% humidity.

The more important question is how should I dehydrate these fruits that have been sharing a tub with trich for the past week or two? I’d imagine running them in a dehydrator in the house would be like a trich spore distributor 5000. Are they safe to air dry outside? Will insects get at them?

Thank you so much for your time and responses <3 I tried looking for this specific info but couldn’t find it.

<3

Some people may disagree, but I've never had contams affect future grows. Don't get me wrong, I still move contam tubs away from healthy tubs. But you'll be fine

No risk. Trich is in the dirt and the air around us all day every day.
