Yeah, some things presidents mess up is hilarious. I doubt a good historian would make a good CEO of a country though. I actually would not care if they thought nukes gave us the upper hand in the revolutionary war, lol.

Very few human beings can be good at everything. Trump is a business man, plain and simple. And I know his casino business failed so I don't need to hear about it again. The fact is, he has been successful in business. He is a shark in the waters, and everyone who has come up against him has regretted it. I hope he does a lot of "great" things for the country while in office. Only time will really tell, as usual.

I have to admit Trump is fun to laugh at because of his addiction to being a twitter clown. Give a brash, narcissistic New York business man, over 70 years old, a twitter account and an audience and expect him to be "presidential?" Good luck with that, hahaha.

Okay. You are either young or have not lived in this country for long. Trump has been celebrated in this country for decades. The man has proved his business skills in all kinds of areas. He has even taken over failed government projects and got them done under budget and ahead of schedule. Trump was never called a bad business man until he became the enemy of the liberal crowd who used to ooh and awe when he walked in the room. The only "failures" he has had were with the casinos. To say that there is no "proof" he is good at real estate is beyond hilarious. Thanks for that comment. That made my day.

MANY people have money, borrow money, steal money, etc., and attempt to use it to do business and they fail miserably. Everyone who knew Trump throughout his life has said that he has the "Midas touch," because nearly everything he takes on he succeeds at. 

It is not only his business skills that has made him successful. It is his ability to work with people, his likability in person, his ability to find productive people, his ridiculous amount of self discipline, etc. He has never drank, smoked, done drugs, etc. He is a workaholic. All of these things were well known about Trump before he became a politician. That is why he was highly respected by nearly everyone. He was not on Oprah and every late night show because he is pretty. He was on those shows because of his success and the awe it inspired. He did not start the successful show called the "Apprentice," because he had easy or limited success. That show was enormously popular because of Trumps reputation for success.

It is amusing that suddenly Trump is constantly ripped apart in the media and made to look the opposite of everything EVERYONE knew him to be before he ran for president. His brash, New York business man persona makes it easy for his haters to do that. I don't watch the news because I refuse to be manipulated by agenda led demonically influenced people. I feel the same way about Fox news and its "reporting" on Hillary and Obama. It makes me sick to my stomach. I hate gossip, slander, twisted facts, etc. It is a very sick, demented part of humanity. We are extremely divisive, opinionated, proud, judgmental creatures, fallen very fall from the tree. We all have our own knowledge of good and evil, and it has made us demonic and we don't even know it. 

I'll leave you guys alone and let you trash Trump in peace, lol. I know how much human beings enjoy this kind of thing. It makes us feel "right" and better about ourselves. It is rather sad to see it on shroomery though. There are some kinds of shrooms that have potential to deliver us from this broken part of our nature. The earth is groaning in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed to deliver it from its bondage to decay. It is trying to talk to us if we have ears to hear.

I’m 50 and lived here my whole life except for 4 years in college and Donald trump has been a laughing stock for decades

About same age as koods here. I'm not sure what you guys have seen that I have not. I guess we see what we want to see. I can remember one rough patch, when the economy was in trouble, where Trump was in the news for having a hard time. I never saw anyone saying he was unsuccessful or a laughing stock at all, until he ran for president. Of course anyone and everyone who is famous is going be in the tabloids on occasion for personal problems. That has to be what you are referring to. 

Perhaps you guys live in the liberal make believe world, which was created after Trump decided to run for president. In that world Trump is a business failure who has a low IQ and a mental illness or two. It is an interesting concept but wildly made up for political reasons. Either that or there is an alternate reality and the two are getting mixed up some how. Maybe you guys ate too much of your harvests and are in the wrong dimension.

The Apprentice was extremely successful because of Trump's positive business reputation and the FACT that he is a multi-billionaire. Not a single person, article, newscast, etc., said anything bad about him when that show started and it had tremendous success. If he was a failing business man, who was a laughing stock for decades, the show would have had no credibility and been a joke like you bafoons.

I bet if we were having this conversation a few years ago, you intelligent fellas would be saying that Trump will NEVER be the President.

The man just keeps succeeding, regardless of the constant mocking and slandering. It is a modern marvel. I have NEVER seen anything like it in my life. I am still wondering how someone could be so hated, ridiculed, mocked, etc., and still win the election. The liberal propaganda machine has taken over nearly all media, higher education, entertainment, government, etc., and it is still being defeated or barely winning. If conservatives controlled half of what liberals do, every election would be a landslide in favor of them. It is just astounding to sit back and watch. I guess with this in mind, keep ranting, spreading half truths, lying, and mocking. It is your only chance at any future "victory" for your chosen "side."

Absolutely nobody with any sense would have thought Trump could become President. He has been such a ridiculous and shady character in American pop culture for so long, it was a completely absurd thought that there could be a sufficient number of credulous suckers that would take him seriously. The man is a joke. He’s been a joke for 30 years. Even you have just admitted your incredulity that he could win the election.

We anti-trumpers haven’t misjudged trump. He’s just as incompetent and unfit for he job as we knew he would be. What we did misjudge is how grotesquely ignorant and vile the bottom 1/3 of the American barrel is.
