Dude you posted a pic of a pile of shit with nasty looking rotten mushies sort of growing out of it. Whoever "helped" you elsewhere by telling you some way of salvaging those mushies doesn't sound like much help at all, they sound like a bad influence

I thought it was human shit at first and that we were getting trolled. Jenkem Tek.

Everyone has probably responded in such a way because it runs contrary to just about all good growing methods and practices. That, and keeping turds on a plate in the house isn't something that most people would do for any reason.

Where if you're alone, you know, you either come through it or you die, but in any case you avoid the fuss.'"

Re read my post. The second response to you. I offered good advice and asked a specific question in hopes of engaging in a beneficial dialogue with the purpose of trying to help you. If you insist on ignoring help and having a bad attitude, please, feel free to find "help" elsewhere. But know, we're the best in the business. If you only knew the invaluable resource you have here, you'd change your tone quite a bit

What... What is that?

OP no one gave you bad advice. They just didn't give the advice you wanted.

We all fuck up sometimes, and we start again.

You have fucked up, start again. Live n learn.

You have an oozing pile of turd on a plate ffs. Like at school when you make those flower saucers with Vaseline and petals. But very much worse.

We value members of the shroomery community, and we just don't want you to die man.

Surely not. That would require way too much commitment. That looks like an actual turd. It's been leaking on and staining that plate for a while. Who would waste good mushrooms poking them into a turd??!

i just want to know what someone told op to "fix" it.  personally i think caps offered sage advice.  clone that big boy onto agar and start again the right way.  i recommend checking out my journal for a fast track to doimg things right from the start.  the community here is understandably appalled by this and not just because its gross, but because its frankly dangerous.  e-coli is nothing to fuck around with and i cant caution you enough not to eat that.  i mean, unless slithering around the toilet for 72 hours and eventually dying of extreme dehydration is your idea of a good time.

you cant blame us for laughing a little when you say whats wromg with this and literally everything is wrong with it.  the shroomery is the premiere resource for learning this hobby but nobody wants to see you get sick.  we like to see members make an effort to learn correct techniques before asking questions that could possibly hurt someone.  like i said, do some reading and 90% of us are happy to help you get going but 100% of us think you should get rid of that immediately.  id say clone, but by the time you learn to make agar it would be too late,  and moreover, that is so badly contaminated with bacteria it would probably be a fools errand to attempt a clone.

thats as helpful as i can possibly be my dude. ill pray for you.

THIS.  Don't eat anything off that literal pile of shit.  Take a spore print, clone it, do whatever you have to do to get a good culture going...

But don't eat it!!!
