They look like dried cubensis to me. Definitely not libs buddy.

dried mushrooms are difficult to identify but they look more like a cubensis then a liberty cap if they are actives

also id likely say this is the wrong area to posting mushroom identifications

where would I post about the ID? i figured i shouldn't post dried in the wild mushrooms section. im mainly just trying to verify the legitimacy of a friend's claims

That could definitely be 6 grams. However different shrooms have different potencies, I'm not sure on the ratio of cubes to libs.

the mushroom hunting and identification section is probably better, you're likely to get more views from those with experience in what you are asking.

there is also pictures of liberty caps (Psilocybe semilanceata) that you can view to get an idea for next time

you obviously wont be able to follow a proper ID request format but Im sure you'll get a stronger idea of what you have in that section
