Noob mushroom ID request
    #26056934 -

Hi I am from the UK and have found these guys growing in my garden (pics to follow)

They are caramel to pale cream coloured caps approx 2-4cm in diameter and growing in grass near the stump of a recently felled ash tree. The stems are pale cream/white and are hollow approx 4-6cm long. They seem to have a dark black/blue bruising appearing along the edge of the cap which in the more mature state of growth is producing a slight wave. The gills are pale bluish grey I don't currently have a photo of this but can get one if required. Spore print is brown/bluish grey. They are growing quite spaced apart rather than in clumps.

If you need anymore info if I have missed anything out please let me know also I can get more pictures if needed.

I appreciate your help. Very new to all this and so much to learn.

Here is a picture of the gills. It has been half eaten by a squirrel, so I'm guessing either my local wild life knows something I don't or these are not active. Still an ID would be appreciated.

Here is the squirrel, sitting on the tree stump eating the other half of the mushroom.

Hi Duggstar

Thanks for this, I thought it might be way to convenient to have something magical growing on my doorstep.:frown:I'll let the squirrels chow down and keep looking. I am lucky enough to live on the boarder of Wales near fields and an abundance of sheep and cows. Now I think I've got the hang of posting in the right place on here I'll be sure to upload anymore interesting finds.

Thanks again and good hunting!
