I’ve been doing morning and nightly tramping around my property in the Yarra Ranges since the weather change and the rain last Friday and aside from some earthstar’s, I haven’t seen hide nor hair of any mushrooms of any sort although I’ve noticed some mycelium starting to spread on the random wood debris here and there.

Sadly, I don’t think there’s much more in the way of rain over here until next week.

Yeah I've been doing the same thing down in the south east and same deal, starting to see some mycelium but no mushrooms yet. My guess is 2-4 weeks before we see some good patched starting to pop up

Yeah, I’m knew to this so not 100% sure. They certainly got my hopes up, but I think no dice. Maybe the season is still building up.

Hi everyone! geelong local and first post. I went out on the weekend and had a good look, I'm a noob but did find mycelium around the place. Went for a hike about an hour SouthWest and saw this guy by the roadside! this will be my wife and i's first season hunting and we are super excited! good to meet you all :smile:
