Saturday morning is looking good...doubt to see much of the mass in Late July last year but still good to get an early season feel.
Always an exciting time 👍👍👍

I remember many years ago an old hippy saying wait until autumn where you get those 2 or so days where it rains pretty much non stop or brief breaks between long rain periods and you should be good to start looking around from that point on......

Bit of a field report from today's day off

took the opportunity to head down south and check the effects all this rain and colder temps have had.

Still looking too dry for my liking but I suspect this might be soon to change with the expected downpour and colder temps.

Only managed to find some inactive in the pine forest, but was a worthwhile day regardless and will defiantly be checking back once conditions are more promising.

Cool to see some mushrooms frunco, i went around a little bit and didnt see anything! I actually think it is temps, that would of been enough water for them.

My Mid report for those who know.

Plenty wet enough but you can see that the Myc has only just now been able to start eating....been a real struggle through that dryness.

Itll be at least another week till its had a chance to plump up and then fruit.(again weather dependant)...she is going to be a late one.

Not even inactives yet...

Hey guys, only recently gotten into psychedelics from LSD and completely new to mushroom picking. I will post any more I find in here, it would be great if you guys could help me out with IDing them.

After this heavy rainfall walking through the parklands next to the CBD saw huge amounts of mushrooms of varying species. Picked these was wondering if someone could ID if these are Subs.

Shrooms were found in grassy area and the photos are from 24 hours after being picked. Spore print was quite dark brown back had very light purply tint I believe. Kinda cautious though because the shrooms saw no bluish bruising. Unfortunately spore print fucked up to one side when I tried to pick it up can make more if necessary.

No actives yet, but had to laugh at the location of my first fungi spotting of 2019.

Oh the audacity

That sparked me up for a bit of local urban hunting and took dog for a walk. Looks a bit too dry still in the local parks and creeks. But... I did find these beauties!!!
