NSW - SYDNEY PROXIMITY 2019 MAGIC HUNTING THREAD

Hi guys,
Long time tripper, first time picker.

Just wondering if anyone could give us a tip of a spot near sydney to search for magic mushrooms.

Any tips would help but would love a hint into exactly where to look as big rookie

First of all, please read through the forum rules before you make a post.

You will see that it is against them to request or reveal any specific locations, for very obvious reasons.
In any case you would probably ask in vain, as I don't believe many would like to reveal their good spots.

In short - you will have to do the required research and footwork all by yourself, like everybody else here does.

Luckily there is a lot of reliable information floating around regarding the mushrooms you seek, pictures, descriptions, preferred habitats etc.
Being in Sydney you should be looking for Psilocybe subaeruginosa.

Please be sure to bring a camera with you when hunting, and take good pictures of the mushrooms you find, preferably in situ, and
also remember to take pictures of the gills and stem. Make good descriptions of your finds, post them here and we will do what we
can to help you identify your finds properly.
