4.5 to a brick is more than the package recommendation is lol. It would be soup. Even 3.25L per brick is wet sometimes

This place is weird bro. Lots of solid advice and fragile egos right along side bad advice and hard headed superstition. Some of these guys actually believe they know more about this crap than accredited mycologists with multi million dollar budgets for performing experiments. Nearly every legitimate study is disregarded as valid information due to age in lieu of anecdotes and wishful thinking.

There are some very solid people here as well. You just have to sift through the nonsense of tweakers and cops.

I been using roughly 4 qts well actually I am not sure to be honest I just eye ball I put 15 gallons into 18 bricks and like 20qts verm and it was still wet I think that might of been my issue on alot of my midget fruits .. I am going to cut it down alot..

Hpoo needs atleast 5 qts per tub i really should have re read somethings before jumping in Haha

Your also adding verm i only add verm if im over capacity.

Too wet of sub usually ends with small fruits. So they kinda go hand and hand.

I do 7 gallons to 15 bricks

But straight coir ? I am going to try that maybe add 1 gallon for the verm ? I was thinking the maz were shit but I know they came from good lines.. then I seen some other fruits that were big in one bag and small in a tub..


It also has to do with the brand of coir some cour can handle more water and your verm as well but I know for me 4 qts is too much I have holes open all the way and still have beads of moisture after days open

I have been around alot of people like that dude you're talking about trying to tell me how shrooms are grown and it's funny cause I act dumb "oh wow I didnt know that's how they did it?" And they puff out their chest like yup I have grown tons like that and it's hard not to laugh and call em dumb fucks

Yeah var in coir can be a huge thing as well as anything from salty coir ive seen.

Yeah i just use coir 7 gallons to 15 bricks its either just right or a little under so i just spray some water on it to get it to capacity.


Whenever i go to a party and talk to people about mushrooms i have to stop myself. Its very difficult .

I know right 😂😂😂 a guy I know that doesn't know I grow any was telling a whole bunch of bullshit one day about this and that, and talking about the kits you buy and simple this and easy that and nothing to it, like he was trying to teach me something. I'm still new but I know more than that ass hat.
