Thanks saralove. I apologise for being so disrespectful of you regarding the quality of California bridgesii via PM.

Pineninja you seem cool with a lot of knowledge about P.subaeruginosa. I promise I'll stop sub bashing anymore on these forums.

So gyms, subs and alutacea for SA. I wonder if there'd be some tasmaniana or semilanceata lurking somewhere.

We get about 80 inches of rainfall in a good year. Most of coastal nsw gets 40-60 invhes in a good year. What's the wettest place in SA? Does anyone know its rainfall?

All good mate, I enjoy the discussion because I know there is no absolute answer.

I think Mt compass has the highest av rainfall...top of my head.

Hey mate! Good to see you in the SA thread! Should be an enjoyable year out hunting as always.

Come to this link for weather, we'll sort it out in there...

I have always kept an eye out for P Tasmania but I dunno if we have high enough altitude for them.... who knows though as alutaceas have gone un-noticed for years.

I am surprised P. semilanceata hasn't turned up either, given its prevalence in Otways, SW VIC!

Anyway have a great season SA. Looking forward to the pics!

It's generally accepted that the area around Uraidla is the wettest area in the state. The wettest area runs in a line through Ashton, Uraidla down to Bridgewater.

Uraidlas average with data from 1890 to present is 1081mm.

But some years are much wetter, in 2016 Uraidla recorded 1790mm.
