1.6g no experience??

Hey. I've been trying to slowly find the point at which I begin to feel effects. A few days ago I had 0.2g and nothing. Yesterday I had about 0.7g over the course over a few hours and nothing. Today I had about 1.6g and still feeling nothing that couldn't be considered placebo. Is this normal? Cheers

Hey friend, I think Terence said it best 'People aren't taking enough'.

It sounds like you are microdosing and steadily increasing the dose, which doesn't surprise me you aren't feeling much, if your slate is clean, 1g dried should induce some good effects, but if you're microdosing very steadily like this, I can only imagine the tolerance.

I had this really frustrating trip a few weeks ago, It was the day after a 1g trip which was magnificent, I decided to test it out and dosed 1.5, while it all started out okay, only maybe an hour in I was completely sober and experiencing instantaneous shift from one state to the other, not fun, I just wanted to float away!

If you want to enjoy your drugs, take a SUFFICIENT dose! and then allow some time for your body to reset, that being said, everyone is different and I wish you the best in your experiments.

A mushroom tolerance wouldn't build up that quick.

Are you on meds?
Do you know your mush is good?

Next step go for 2.5, things get goofy around there :cheers:

Thanks for the replies. Yeah they are dried cubes and I can see the blue stain on many of the stems so I'm pretty sure they are the real deal. I'm not on any meds apart from moda here and there but didnt have any yesterday or today. I think I'll go balls to the wall next time like 4g

I believe so. They were only picked a week or two ago and are plenty dry. It doesn't seem like they have been overheated but I wouldn't know exactly.

They'd have to get really hot for that to effect potency.

They are dry when they snap appart when you try to bend them. If you still can bend them then they are not really dry.

You are supposed to eat them all at once, not over the course of several hours. 0.7 is like nothing.

1.6g is where you should feel somthing, though. I get pretty good visuals from this dose already, if the shrooms are potent.

Wait a few days and then try 3 or 4 grams, eaten all at once.

Yeah you are doing it all wrong. Take a week break and then dose 2-3 grams in 1 go. Also shrooms can be bunk from time 2 time.

Make tea, it will kick in faster. Don’t eat anything like 3-4 hours ahead of dosing.

Probably don’t even need to wait a week if you haven’t gotten off on them yet. But, at least 2g for potent shrooms. 3-4g for average.

And don’t worry too much about finding the exact decimal point for a “level 1” or other metric. different batches will have different potencies. Sure, it’s nice to know how you personally respond, but, by the time this batch is gone and you are on to the next, it won’t matter. You will have to start over if you are trying to be precise. I like 2g for a tester dose.... generally enough to feel it, but not enough to end up naked running down the highway.

Will this be your first time tripping on shrooms? If so, it’s prob best to just go for it. That way you kinda know what to expect from more or less amounts. Eating a gram and waiting around trying to make the walls breath by squinting your eyes sucks.

Go for the classic 3.5g, take it in tea on an empty stomach and report back. You will be fine. 👍:mushroom2:
