Many things that I hold in a higher regard than my happiness...

But the number 1 would be my children, their well being, development and happiness.

I find I put my happiness second to other peoples happiness in general (partners and people I feel close to). It doesnt always have a positive outcome

I aspire to hold my life principals and philosophies above all. In some ways I have succeeded and some ways I have failed. Its a constantly evolving circumstance. Deeply desiring to progress in this regard more so in the past year than ever before in life. Things are difficult to transition out of after being a complete sack of inhuman shit for so many years. Fuck my previousness. Need to purge my ass out of bad juju.

With my dog his happiness or security and health is good for me.  I'm somewhat distant in that regard with family but maintain what they ask and somewhat expect.

People's expectations are not always great for us, but there's a balance.

So much of life is not being defined by social expectations and so much of being a good person is meeting or exceeding expectations.  In a good way.

I think for many of us the service of society that is crystalized in Government fails our hopeful expectations.  Same with religion largely.

Personally I feel a sense of fulfilment is far more important than my personal happiness.
My happiness doesn't seem to hold off the heavy thoughts I have of things that are largely out of my control. An example would be my friends and my wife's mental health, or the state of the world and society at large, but if i can push myself enough everyday, I can achieve a sense of fulfillment which kind of equates to "I've done all i can for today". This then helps me relax and sleep much easier.
I know "fulfilment" is a vague and subjective term and i guess it can be acieved through a myriad of ways or a combination of any. But if I feel if I put in a good effort in my days activities, be it work, hobbies, housework or whatever, make a couple of people smile and make one person's day easier then I'm most the way there.
I don't get there everyday but now more than ever before it's most days and it leaves me content.

Sleep is kinda like death.  It's hard to accept it can just happen in our sleep.

But I don't think the self talk ends at death.  I'm sure it gets very dramatic in out of mind ways. 

So it seems impossible to be happy with that.  But at times there is odd satisfaction.  Not really for any reason than mind was free.

We get empty fulfillment that can open doors.

For some sleep fulfills their wishes of wanting to be unaware.  I have a Korean war vet neighbor and I don't know what clock he is on.  Their dogs are out at odd times.

he's been through a lot I'm sure.  Not even sure where he is from, not even a guess.

He seems to hold on to live pretty well.  He hasn't said anything about noticing drug activity.

Most people don't deal out of the house.  If you are wise indeed.

I know drugs can fulfill.  They can teach adaptation to not using them.  So I've been on meds for years and years again now. They seem to keep me awake and not as tired.

They shook what I thought was a foundation.  Never thought much of weed until paxil.  Now I think I could take paxil again.  But I know we can sleep into aggression.  Not well thought out aggression.

So for a lot of people, distance between aggression is fulfillment for a time we hope lasts. Mutual freak outs.

I suppose fulfillment comes from meeting or exceeding my own expectations.
I can have a really shit day but if i can complete my goals then I will attain a sense of fulfilment or achievement.
As for happiness, well I get my fair share but happiness is kinda one sided. Can only be happy when your happy. The symptoms of fulfilment, pride, positive self image, confidence, compassion, can all bring you happiness but are not but are not created by it.

A life fulfilled is happy but happiness is not necessarily fulfilment .

If all that makes sense...

games, im tired of everything. People thinking only about

The thing is I just want fell to be loved, and some closeness..
I never fucking had it, even from my parents.

I rarely feel something to others, even to the closest family.
Im usually pretending to feel to not offend them or make them sad.

I don't think you can be happy in this life. I believe that life is suffering. I'm not saying you can't be happy for short periods of time but 90% of it is going to suck. I come from a good family. I have a good paying job and im above average looking. Even with these things I'm depressed and have a difficult time getting out of bed. Probably because the American dream is bull shit. I think a world full of toxic people are the reason me and other people are sick.  Until they die out we're  f-d..
