A system like ours sucks, NHS national insurance comes out of my wages for jobless do nothings, who are proud of scrounging their whole lifes and their kids lifes and they can get free medicine but even though my wages pay for the service i still have to pay for my prescription. My local A&E has a minimum 8hour wait, because the drs cant keep up with the amount of people. If i need to book an appointment at the drs practice its a 2 month wait, because its full. Whenever i go there its like a club house for the elderly and jobless chavs trying to get an excuse for why they can no longer work, ive heard one guy once describe the symptoms of chronic fatigue so the other guy can use it to get benefits.

Yes.

Welfare and disability are easy to scam. I see lots of people who have done it. All people who are lazy, able bodied, and tend to have broken families.

I'm not paying for these people and I don't want them "paying" for me.

Welfare needs to have incentives that convince people working is a better alternative to welfare.

If we eliminate the legitimately disabled, and acknowledge that some people do scam disability, it is still the case that most of the people on welfare work full time.

But a person wouldn't know that unless they were someone who actually wanted to know things.

If you're going to bitch about welfare, you should be bitching about corporate welfare. They're the real grifters. Multimillion dollar subsidies to walmart, for building a store that they will profit from in a small town. Look at the kind of subsidies Boeing gets. It will make you want to puke.

Our government just gives companies like Amazon enormous sums of money, cuz they're cool and successful. It makes no god damn sense.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

I'm fine focusing on the issues that actually matter, like AOC is trying to do, and not slamming her for no reason before she even gets started.
