Yes, I made up the geography, but much of Florida will be gone. Probably not Northern Florida.

Either way, I don't think the Green Party will ever gain traction. I think the most they will ever accomplish, is to sheer off a small percentage of disgruntled Democratic votes.

He was actually George Wallace's first preference for VP in 68. Wallace was the only 3rd party candidate to win electoral votes (since the Democrats and Republicans became the established 2 party system). Wallace won 4 Southern states.

When asked how he could market to black people, Sanders said "Niggers eat chicken too", so he was a good fit for Wallace.

The running mate turned out to be air force general Curtis LeMay, who was best known for saying we should "nuke the Vietnamese into the stone age".

I agree. Every 3rd party candidate in my lifetime (born in the Eisenhower administration) has served no purpose except being a spoiler. John Anderson and Ross Perot may have turned the elections. Wallace, despite winning electoral votes was not enough to sabotage Nixon against Humphrey, although it was very close, and went on well into the next morning.

Wow, I didn't realize that Hillary Clinton was even considering running again. What a terrible idea. It would be hilarious to see Bernie starting off with a lead over Clinton though! He would have absolutely crushed her, had there been one or two more decent candidates. If Biden had run, I think Bernie would have won.

I really don't like it when there are so many candidates running in the primary. It paves the way for a fringe nutcase like Donald Trump to win the nomination. I don't think Trump would have won, had it not been for the fact that there were 20 fucking Republicans running, and he had the most unique message.

I do think that, up to a point, a decent pool of Democrats (say ~10 candidates) will probably be of great benefit to Bernie Sanders. He will command the lead, I believe.

Would like to see Tulsi Gabbard on that list.

Bernie is the only real politicion.  He actually believes in some good. 

But some down sides

He's not a warrior in spirit if we do enter conflict
Not sure about his economic side.  But seems to believe in trickle up

Well there's a critical point, that most Americans seem to gloss over.

If America isn't interested in involving itself in conflict, it never has to. America is in a unique position, in that we have all the military might, and less need for it than most of the world, because of our geographic location. It would be absolutely unfeasible for that vast majority of the world to even attempt to wage war with the United States, with or without our exorbitant military.

If the US is ever to crumble, it will be of our own doing.

If trump ran against anyone but Hillary, he would have completely tanked. Its really funny how unpopular Hillary is. Its not even that shes a woman. She just really rubs people the wrong way, a truly unlikable person
