I just watched a video of Bernie Sanders talking to Stephen Colbert about his potential bid for president in 2020. It doesn't seem, to me, that he is particularly interested in running. I was quite shocked to see him suggest Cory Booker as a potential alternative.

he's been saying that same line for weeks while his wife and campaign manager give all the signals for a run.  They had a summit the other day after which Jeff Weaver said something along the lines of "This time, Bernie's gonna be the early frontrunner"  I think that line is just his way of humble-bragging for when the time comes.  He knows that booker, beto, harris, etc., are polling waaaaaaaay behind him.

When he said that Booker is a 'good friend' of his... It made me fucking cringe. Cory Booker makes me cringe.

I wonder how it would be if we had a team of presidents, it seems as though it wouod be better to me in almost every way. No emotional or rash decisions, no one point of weakness, >50% would have to be corrupted for it to fail essentially (depending how it's organized), etc, and I see very little down sides if any at all.

Because he's the real deal. He's sincerely about public service.  When he was mayor of Newark, he took a longstanding corrupt system and wouldn't play those games.  He'll never become president because he's far too honest.
