What's a fair drug budget?

I have about 1600 take home a month after all expenses, and not including overtime. Although, I may be forgetting a few? Well I remembered drugs, and I'm trying to decide what's solid. I smoke about 2 packs a week so...$80
I like to drink, and I like to share alcohol so I was thinking...75?
And I also smoke about an 8th a week so...$80 on that.
I do buy some sort of psych once or twice a month though so $20 there.
Which comes out to 255. Which is, incidentally 35 dollars more than my food and cat budget but half my rent.

I was hoping to have been at about 200 a month but I honestly think that was a modest amount. I dunno, what do you guys think?
Leave me with 1345, which i could use another 200 for myself, 145 for "life improvements" and 1000 saved. Which is about half my take home. Good folks of the shroomery pick this apart for me. And tell me your own.

I spend about $200 every quarter for the things I can't grow or make. Acid, mdma and amphetamines mostly. Sometimes some 2CB or GHB.

I was spending $100 a week on alcohol, but I quit that. I used to smoke, but I quit that too. I used to like weed, quit that too.

Don't really spend that much money anymore, it just kind of evaporates into expenses... things for my house and tribe.

That said...

In my 20's I would spend everything I had on chasing parties, doing things, going places, getting wasted. Money was designed to be spent for good times those days. No regrets. :awesome:

I spend about 50 a month on LSD.. weed is free.. and i don't drink.. my drug costs are pretty low. Actually.. 300ug every saturday at $3 per 100.. Actually.. my drug budget is $36 a month.. shit.. that's cheaper than dinner. :smile: I'm doing well.

Depends on your money situation and how often you do them. I'm not the type to pick up "one or two" of anything. At this point in my life if I'm getting offered acid I'm gonna ask about the bulk deals. So unless I'd end up doing large amounts or just fairly often it's probably not gonna cost $20/mth. Or say you're growing your own shrooms/weed, once you're set up it's really low cost to profit, obviously, and that can factor into a budget. I've thought lots about making my own booze even.

Honestly with the right connections, a properly maintained drug habit can have a positve net gain :shrug: Plus hobbies. The best answer though is whatever is within your means, and it's best kept low priority.

No matter what a drug budget usually goes over if it's anything but weed.

I've saved more money not drinking/buying weed. Seems LSD is usually free.  Shrooms and stuff can be more rare.

Then there is the theory of saving money TO PRODUCE drugs.  That's a big legal security risk.

As well as money diverted from one expenditure to another might save money and might not.  My drinking money has cut down from about $80 a month, more or less, to about $50 in lottery.  Well, that may of been drinking and lotto.

Anyhow it's a good thing to want to save money.  I still believe in the dream that buying stuff to produce these novelty drugs/plants/life forms is admirable.  I don't fuck with it as it's simply an attachment 'thought'.

But I do spend a bit on ice cream.  Just try to save money and ease up on the attachments.  It could be it's just about spending money and recreational spending.

you could try spending $75 a month on kratom to bump up that number, or eat only mcdonalds for a month thats $535.35 a month or buy a laptop from purism or system76 that will take the whole lump sum

Everybody thinks I'm the King Of High, but in reality, I tend to use about 0.4-0.6grams of MXE per month.

That amounts to a drug budget of *gasp* 2-3 bucks a month. That still means I gotta orally service 2-3 guys a month at the truck stop to get my out of control drug habit met.

No seriously, 2-3 bucks, really.

Toss in some wavy caps microdoses at the price of a handful of woodchips :naughty: and I'm golden.

I spend about as much on toothpaste as on drugs, now I think of it :yesnod:

Just a couple of days ago I worked out how much I have spent over the last four years on frills and doodads. Over £16,000, it turns out.

That's about $20,000+ USD, or $5000 a year.

I might have a little bit of a problem.

I easily spend 400 a month on just weed and it bleeds me dry of all entertainment funds and everything optional. That's only like 3-4 ounces but it's a lot of moeny.

Why not grow weed?

For $4000 you can get a really nice grow with about a grand in good genetics.  Maybe 800 but that's more than enough seed to find some excellent mother plants to keep around.

60$ should leave you baked 40% of the time

if you have to buy weed 80$ every two weeks is a lot
