Could any music be more enjoyable?

Crooners are the shit, Martin, et al.

My grandma's husband has been teaching me about him over several bottles of scotch...

He was quite the pimp!

Yeah, Frank?s the Man; The Chairman of the Board; Old Blue Eyes!

I?ve got a bunch of Sinatra. My favorite stuff is from the mid-to-late-fifties -- especially the Nelson Riddle Period -- I?ve got an album of him covering Cole Porter tunes, with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra -- that is Da Bomb!

My friend Socks used to hang out with that crowd in the early-sixties in Vegas. Here?s a pic...

Rumor has it that socks banged Angie Dickenson, backstage at the Tropicana, one night. However, Socks being a gentlemen, will neither confirm nor deny this!

also early Tony Bennet is good, and I love Nat King Cole too.

Yeah, that's a great pairing. I love Jobim too! Bosa Nova -- it's great smooth music -- for like driving down the coast highway with your baby. Any of that Jobim/Getz/Gillberto stuff!

sinatra is great to dance to

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
-Al Einstein

I love Sinatra... "Make it one for my baby, and one for the road" is, IMO, his best song.

'Im for anything that gets you thrrough the night, be it a prayer, a traquilizer, or a bottle of Jack Daniels' ~F.S.~

I hope I put enough postage on the lope. I think the stamp was for $0.80. I know they raised our local stamps up a cent, but I dont know about US ones...

Its usually $.60 US.

I think I'm going to wait to see how this goes, and then run a contest in the market place. The rules will be (please help edit):

1. All entries must be post-marked on (said date). All entries post-marker before or after this date will not be entered into the contest.
2. Contest is for residents of Canada and her respective provinces.
3. Entries must be sent standard letter rate, expedited, 1st class, Return Receipt, and priority packages will not be accepted.
4. Entry form must include your name or initials, and a valid mailing address.
5. Bribes will be accepted, but do not guarantee your place in the winners' circle.
any other rules I'm not thinking of?
