Ski.
Caught opening day at Wolf Creek last Saturday.
Fucked up my knee pretty bad on my second run, and skied the rest of the day super slow and sloppy, but still an amazing day for October skiing! (26" base. Going back tomorrow)

I work in Telluride during season and am able to take a guest with me for the day on the lifts for free.
Feel free to :pm: me if and when you come down this way. Would love to show you guys around this magical landscape. My girl boards, well, she's learning and can ride a steep blue pretty well.

Double date riding mountains if you're into it

Edit: Damn, that right knee. Was in so much pain to keep my leg straight. So incredibly happy I didn't tear my knee up on opening day.

I want to learn how to surf

It's pretty hard
Took me 5 good hours to ride my first wave and pop up.
And that's with about 10  Years experience on a skateboard and skis
I'm hoping to practice more this summer but want my own board

That's not too bad as long as it's fun. I might try surfing next summer.

Has the store really been down for 2 years now?
I haven't checked since it went down back then until just now.

How do people still have supporter accounts, aside from members who bought lifetime?

Anyways, no stickers. But I have a good friend in the area that makes vinyl decals professionally.
He'd be happy to make some for the Shroomery. As long as it's cool with the admins, I guess.

Who here would want the Shroomery logo as a sticker for probably a few bucks shipped?

I want to do something to help bring awareness to our awesome community.

Salt Life?  WTF.  Make your life about it.  I really don't get it.  With it being political season is funny to see those that put those on.  One had a Bush/Cheney on his???  In the present time.  And Hillary.  Is it just laziness to remove them to present time.  Don't know, like I don't want to learn about Salt Life.

I used to plaster all sorts of shit over my car and my brother got pissed because it drew attention to the cops.  I know this isn't on topic to whatever Salt Life is but what is the stupidest bumper sticker one has seen?  Salt Life, notwithstanding.

I'll post a thread here in the pub about it after I talk to my friend sometime next week.
It would also be an awesome Shroomery Christmas/holiday gift for members here. (You guys, I spoiled secret santa this year already. Sorry)

I can't believe no one has done this before. It's time!

If you can blow pipes, I would love to buy a little glass pipe with the Shroomery logo on the bowl.
I'm sure the community would love it as well.

We'll talk.

Sorry to hear about the knee. That's the reason I don't ski, well that and I try to turn every sport I do into surfing.
I'll definitely let you know when we can head out there. Sounds fantastic.

Surfing was my life from the age of 9 until I moved out here to Colorado 3 years ago.
I rode my first wave when I was 8 on my dad's 1970's singlefin. Like 4 inches thick in Ubatuba, Brazil, and immediately fell in love with it.

Grew up surfing the east coast. Mostly shitty windchop in South Florida, but would always travel upcoast for tropical storm/hurricane swells. Sometimes go up as far as NC.

What I've come to find out is that surfing does not translate to snowboarding whatsoever. I can ride, but it's just so unnatural to me to be bound into my board sideways.
Skiing is what came naturally to me for unknown reasons. Although now in my 30's, the knee injuries do keep me from attempting some craziness such as suicide (avalanche) chutes.
If I get 50+ riding days this season with no injuries, I'll drop in a chute in late April. That's my goal.
